Haven't finished a game in a very very long time. I'm not as patient as i used to be.
I'm not sure but i think it was Fallout NV and Mafia II 2 years ago. I almost completed Alan Wake but i got bored of it, played another game, and then i never felt like playing it again lol.
Oh right! I did complete Hitman: Codename 47 some months ago, thought it would be a good introduction to the other games of the series, but it confused me a lot! Now I'm beating portal 2 again, legally this time hehe

Alan Wake this afternoon. 1 episode per day.
This game is so great I can't find the proper words. Few games could tell a story that well and immerse the player that deeply.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge - Pretty cool slasher. Not as good as Darksiders but still a nice game. I loved music and I liked the fact that there's a bit of everything in it (exploration, battles, puzzles). We don't fight all the time but we also do some exploration and we solve riddles from time to time. Our heroes are cool and chapters are long. And the game isn't short, it took me something around 15 hours to beat it. What I didn't like? Bugs and invisible walls. Also, there should have been a strong hint as to what to do to get what kind of ending because I'm pretty sure most players will (unintentionally) get the "bad" ending. Other than that, it's a nice game. 7+/10

Such an awesome game! >_<
I recently beat it again myself, it was my first Sega Classics purchase on Steam and I'll never regret it!

I would like to say Asura's Wrath on PS3 but as you have to get a certain "score" on all previous levels to unlock the final level (which I didn't) I'm afraid I have to admit I haven't finished it yet :/

Well I recently finished Tomb Raider and it's a very good game imo. Definitely a good purchase.

Alan Wake (thank you Curumo!), on Hard difficulty
Started this one last Christmas and played it for a few days. Finally got around to finishing it up today, and it was longer than I had expected! Also, it was one of the first games that Big Picture mode showed as having full controller support, so I played this one through entirely with a controller. If you're a horror/suspense novel fan (in the vein of Stephen King, not shying away from the supernatural), this game is a must-play. Voice acting is excellent, and the attention to detail in general is quite good. There's some obvious budget-saving things (lip syncs are usually off, some low-poly things, and tons of repeated objects), but there's also a ton of one-off things that add hugely to the cinematic atmosphere of the game. While it's not good enough to rank amongst my favorites, it's still an excellent title and has a unique self-aware delivery all its own.

I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.
Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.
