The Walking Dead - yesterday.
Very good game. I might play it again someday to see the other choices.

The only game I have actually ever beat in my life would be Black Ops 2 campaign.

I just beat Rogue Legacy! I haven't finished many games but I finished this one before my boyfriend, a much more skilled platformer.

I just finished Evoland earlier today. It was pretty fun, definitely worth playing, but I can't help feeling that the designers could have done so much more with it... Can't wait to see if they do a sequel!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
It's the second non-Valve game I ever bought on Steam, on new year's eve 2007. I played it once or twice before, but never got very far. Finally took the time (~43 hours) to really give it a good play through. It requires a few things to get it running on a modern system, and I used an unofficial patch that re-adds many things left unfinished in the original game, but once you have it set up that's no longer a hassle. The last 1/4 of the game is a lot more combat-heavy than the rest and I do and don't like that. "Don't", because it's inconsistent. But "do" because it gives you a good chance to really feel how powerful your character has become. The rest of the game is amazingly immersive and just about on par with the original Deus Ex in depth and versatility. While it's not always a solid experience, the vast majority of the game is. The quests are actually interesting, the lore is engrossing, a few of the environments are really well done, and the detail put into the conversation trees is an obvious labor of love. I'd love to play through as another type of vampire one of these days, but 43 hours of it is also exhausting and I don't know if I'll come back to it anytime soon, other than to maybe try some of the other endings.
Also, completed Faerie Solitaire last week. 100% achievements! :)

Saints Row The Third.
Playing Deus Ex Human Revolution has made me not like other games so much...

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Giana Sisters on C64 is probably my favorite game from the 80's. I had some worries if Twisted Dreams will be at least half as good as the original. I shouldn't have. It's amazing. One of the best platform games I've recently played. I especially liked the idea of "world twisting". Really interesting and fun. I recommend it to everyone. However, make sure to play it with gamepad since I'd imagine it's a torture to play it using keyboard. 9/10
Tomb Raider: Legend - Finally a TR game which is playable! All the previous ones are stiff and I just couldn't get into them at all. This one is different. It's good. There's lots of action, missions are interesting, places we visit are nice, music is awesome and the gameplay is pretty cool. AI of enemies sucks big time though, even though controlling the character is way better than in the previous TR games it's still a little "stiff" at times, humor is very forced and rather lame, the ending is actually... well, let's say I was expecting another level after I've seen it. Also, the game is pretty short. But I had fun and that's what counts. It's a good game. 7/10

DLC Quest, the original campaign about a week ago. I play too many games to the point I never manage to beat them.

A bunch of shorter titles this time around...
Most recently...
The Room
I picked this one up in one of the Humble Mobile bundles and if you haven't given it a try yet, do so! -- especially if you like the logical puzzle-solving things we occasionally have here on SG. While I wish the zooming in and out was done a little less jerky, everything else about the game is excellent. There are gentle hints if you need them, but for the most part you just use observation and logic to figure out what to do. It's not very lengthy, but it's worth the time and mobile is a perfect platform for the game -- if it were ported to Steam/PC, it wouldn't quite be the same experience. Upon finishing, I visited the web site and was happy to learn that there's a short epilogue releasing later this month, and a sequel is in the works set for later this year.
And next up!...
Anodyne
I started this one in June and got a little over halfway through it within a day or two. Spent another two days on it recently to finish it up. It's very Zelda-esque in feel, but also very introspective and thoughtful in the short dialogs. The gameplay is simple but varied, and except for one (infamous) puzzle near the end, I was able to get through the whole thing without resorting to any internet assists. It could be more difficult, but it doesn't need to be, and so it isn't. And although the story is fairly loose (and semi non-existent), I'd still recommend the game.
And lastly!...
Papo & Yo
The world of this game is beautiful. It's mostly a jumble of colorful dirty houses, but the magical things you do with them spark the imagination in a way that's rare for games. And that's the perfect escape from the reality of the story. It's a short game, too, which is a little disappointing, but it's very well done and I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to play through it.

I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.
Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.
