The Dead Linger

Hey Guys I just wanted to ask you for your opinion for the game The Dead Linger.
It's a Zombie survival game with building elements. It's still in Alpha but it I kinda like it much more than DayZ already.
And if would be nice if it could get on Steam so maybe you can vote for it on Greenlight ;)

They're remaking the game (what they have so far) in a new engine now and it looks a lottttt better. There's some pictures here. Just look for posts with "Build 10" in the title.

EDIT: Also, I think they said somewhere that the things they have planned will be a lot easier to do in the new engine. So, I'm pretty excited for this game.

In my experience graphics quality has a strong correlation with control quality. I refuse to play games with shitty controls so I'm less inclined to investigate games with poor graphics (particularly 3d games). There are exceptions to the rule but the correlation is strong enough that I'm comfortable standing by it in most cases.

I am waiting for the engine switch so the game looks as good as it plays. Another update or two after that and Dayz becomes just another janky zombie mod.

Been following it since September of 2011. In it's current state, it's only fun for a couple of hours (at least singleplayer), but the next few updates are bringing some more stuff like hunting, I think.
