Awwww, and here I was hoping for a more XCom : Apocalypse approach. Man I miss that setting.
Still, this looks good. A liberation / rebellion approach rather than fending off invaders. Could definitely work!

Well, you know how the Ethereals were basically trying to engineer us humans into something to combat a bigger threat ?
(I mean, that's what all the background blah blah on the tedious final mission is about)
I'm guessing this'll prove that they were being honest, and that there was indeed a bigger threat.

Hmmm, something really bothers me about this trailer... Oh, there it is: 20 years later and they're STILL using laser weapons?! Oh, come on! I don't care if this is some alternate universe where our guys lost, all the humans in the trailer using weak ass laser weapons after that much time is killing my suspension of disbelief. :P
(And if it's not an alternate universe but some continuation, it's even worse. XD )
