You can trade it to russian traders for a few keys, sell them and buy a game you want

5$ is better than keeping a useless gift in your inventory.
Torchlight 2 is 2.5$ right now anyways, so you can get 2 copies for you and your russian friend

you can only activate it on a russian account, or via russian vpn. but i wouldn´t do it via vpn, probably you will get banned
