I assume you mean using a VPN? Doing that will get you banned on steam.

I would try to trade it on steamtrades, being certain that your trade partner is aware that the key will only work in Russia. If they want to try using a proxy server or a VPN to activate it outside of Russia, that is their risk.

Don't do it, I was in the same scenario last week and I used VPN, turns out that even activating the game with VPN, a popup message will appear saying that you can't play the game outside the region you bought, so...you have to be in Russia to play russian games, and playing with VPN is far more dangerous than just activating a cd-key.

Edit: you can see the game on my library with 0 playtime, that's the russian key...I have contacted steam and we are on the process of removing the game.

but dmc keys arent region restricted....

Try a risky trade in steamtrades(keys always are risky, and russian keys...) or regift it(they even encourage you to do) where you won it are the best options IMO.
