Fav is dev. Day if the Tentacle.
But there are a lot of good adventures.
I love the funny ones like The Inner World, Deponia, Books of unwritten Tales but also the more "deeper" stuff like Fran Bow and Kathy Rain or the Wadjet Eye Games.

Hard to pick a favorite one. It is probably between Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge and Sam & Max Hit the Road.
The Golden 90s..... those were the days. sigh
Oh, and if you ask me again tomorrow I might answer Beneath a Steel Sky, Day of the Tentacle and Loom. ;D

I'll name 3 (I hope you don't mind): Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within, Grim Fandango and The Cat Lady.
And yeah, I agree, all three adventure games you are giving away are pretty awesome

I absolutely agree with you - point and click adventure games is one of my favorite genres, up there with adventure-cinematic games and walking sims and JRPGs.
Technobabylon is probably my favorite Wadjet Eye game other than Primordia.

One of the first games I've ever played was Maniac Mansion on the C64, failing miserably at it, getting always caught in the kitchen... gonna blame my age at that time for it :P. Though my real first break-in were Monkey Island and Indiana Jones IV, Fate of Atlantis. Can't keep my hands off them since then, good memories ;>.

Can I just say how much I love adventure games?
Can and May. :P
What's your favorite adventure game of all time?
Weirdly (given that I haven't found FMV adventure games to enjoy since then- though that may just be due to the decline of the genre :/), my early point-and-click favorites were Sierra's Lost in Time and various German FMV Mystery games (that I couldn't begin to guess the names of, now). While I'd played plenty of "Quest", Hugo, and other point-and-click games prior to it, I think Quest for Glory IV was the first adventure-PnC that really left me with a strong impact.
It's a bit harder pinning down the first action-adventure game that had an impact on me, given how adventure games (especially early ones) are often more properly assigned to another genre label, at least when they don't fall under the various graphic adventure game/Point-and-click subgenres (ie, Myst-Likes, FMV Adventure Games, Cinematic Adventure Games, Adventure PnCs, Puzzle PnCs, HOGs, etc). If you consider Zelda: Link to the Past as counting as an adventure game (rather than an RPG), then that'd be the one that had the most significant early impact on me.
Since then there've been a lot of great adventure games, but Life is Strange is definitely the one that has impressed me the most (and left me with high hopes for the Cinematic Adventure Game genre, moving forward).

If we're talking old school point and click adventure games, my favorite is probably Beneath a Steel Sky which you can play for free on GOG (and should!), Toonstruck, a wacky comedy adventure that didn't get nearly the recognition it deserves, and of course the Monkey Island series (my fav. is probably #2).
Some newer ones I've enjoyed are Primordia, Deponia, and Kentucky Route Zero.

I hope Andrewski wouldn't mind me answering, but looks like you are talking about Flight of the Amazon Queen.

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge is my favourite. Out of recent(ish) ones - Gemini Rue. If you count first person narrative experiences, then Gone Home and What Remains Of Edith Finch deserve a mention.

Either Cayne or Dreamfall Chapters.
Really enjoyed both of those. :3

I LOVE THEM A LOT. There's been so many good adventures coming out, always! Clever puzzles, excellent writing...god, they're probs my favorite genre...even if I play MMOs a lot more. Here are some giveaways for some of my favorites that have been sitting in my library :)
What's your favorite adventure game of all time? My first one I ever played was Pink Panther: Peril Passport. The first one that really made a major impression in my brain was probably Sam and Max?
Day of the Tentacle Remastered
Hand of Fate
Kentucky Route Zero
Hacknet
Technobabylon
ps: Sorry this isn't a train. Someday I'll figure out how/why to make one!
