How do giveaways work?

what i want to know is: how does the one who created the giveaway choose the winner? or are there more winners? is it specified somewhere? any other basic things( that most new ppl on this side usually ask) i should know?

Winner gets chosen automatically. Amount of winners depends on copies you have available.

I will never understand why people go through the effort of creating a thread when they'd only have to click on one single thread to find all the answers they are looking for.

You create a giveaway, winner is chosen random. Giveaway winner plays the game. That simple.

There is only 1 winner except when you give extra copies. Be aware that you are the one giving the prize.

Actually, the CREATOR of the giveaway provides the game to the random winner.
