I long time ago I was also reluctant to try Uplay based on the general assumption that it's so bad. Using it for a while with no discomfort. Hope stays that way.

Uplay sucks when you buy a Ubisoft game on Steam, because you have to run two clients to play it. Otherwise it is just another horrible DRM to deal with, but it's not different from Steam.

Not really you can't compare the catalog of steam with uplay or the number of features of Steam DRM not even in the same ball park !

You try launching those games that you have multibles of, since I remember having an issue with watch dogs that it wouldn't run since the two different license were conflicting with each other or something?
