The guilty gear games have great soundtracks, and characters named after metal bands like slayer and testament.

Can someone tell me how to do these cool... Heu... When you write the name of the game, it become blue and it become a link? lol, this description is awesome, i know, just look at the very first answer if it's too unclear. I want to do a cool list of all the answers on the main post!

I've saw this one, but when it's mobile port i'm immediately... Dubious? Obviously there's gonna be a lot less content and sometimes bad controls... Did you play it? I'm scared of the "mobile game feel", you know, really repetitive and with slow upgrade cuz.. it's made for microtransactions x)

I don't know Tremor Games, I'm only going on G2A for that kind of things and yeah, like 1.20euros!
Not really related but i've checked, it's free on Android and 1.99 for the "pro" thing to remove ads. On pc it's 8 euros and you only got these "+"..."Full controller support + KB+M, Revamped UI ,Camera Control, Rebalanced for Desktop, Steam Achievements/Leaderboards, Steam Cloud Saves"...(It's working normally on a pc with steam...) Aaaaaaaannnnd...3 Exclusive Indie Crossover Units. 6Euros for 3 units :m C'mon deeeevs

Quake 2 had a pretty metal asf soundtrack. The good ol' gibbing days.
Quake 1 if you consider old NiN metal. It's a close call for me

FlatOut games have metal in OST. Older NFS had some, Loved OST of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.

Yep, I know, the old NFS3. Still ,it was just a sub-title there, not a sequence denominator. Plus they could have just called the 2010 one HP3. =) I mean, I know Underground eventually outshone HP2, but in its time, it was a pretty popular arcade racing game to remain memorable enough.

Full Throttle -- Not really metal, but has some of the vibe, especially since it's made by many of the folk responsible for Brütal Legend. Point-and-click adventure though, and some of the puzzles can definitely be stumpers.

I'm no music expert, but castlevania soundtrack always sounded metal to me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bTAdrq6leQ

Hey Ubermosh dude! :D I bought all the three games! Really an awesome arcade game! I don't reeeaaally like the soudtracks though, I found them really repetitive after a while, and it's the same ones for all the three games x)
Anyway, thanks again! \m/ I like to kill innocent people!... In video games... obviously.
EDIT: Heeey I just realised that's your fourth contribution to the list! You rock dude! \m/

Nooooooo that's not what i meant to say!!!! There are three Ubermosh games! Ubermosh, Ubermosh Black and Ubermosh Volume 3. That's three time almost the same game but with a little twist, and three times the same soundtracks!!! Damn, i'm not that retarded! Haha
In the begining i was looking for games about metal, just like Brutal Legend or Metal Tales: Fury of the Guitar Gods, but a lot of answers were for games with metal ost so i've added these to the list too, even more that a lot of these have a "metal spirit"!

Heeeelllllloooo everybody!
I just finished Brütal Legend for like the fifth time, I like metal, video games and Jack Black. Needless to say, it's my favourite game!
Anyway, I saw someone somewhere saying that Brütal Legend is "one of the best heavy metal themed video game out there"... One of..? Is there more of them?!
I searched a bit and all i found is "THIS IS A HACK N'SLASH! SO IT'S LIKE BRUTAL LEGEND" or "TWISTED METAL, THERE'S METAL IN THE TITLE!"...
I know that there's not a single game AS metal as this one, but did you know any?
Also i'm sorry if me anglish is little suck x)
Thanks for the help brothers \m/
EDIT
Here's the list of all the answers, so maybe this thread can help others just like it helped me! Sometimes i'll put a little (the whole serie) but i'm just going to put a link to a random game of it, like for Painkiller, i've put the link for Hell and Damnation but for no particular reason.
PC:
OTHERS:
CONSOLES(héhé): Guitar hero Metallica... And most of all the others too!
DREAMCAST & PC(No steam): Kiss: Psycho Circus - The Nightmare Child
SNES & MEGADRIVE: Rock n'roll Racing
There's an unofficial remake on pc called Motor Rock
PS2 & PS360: Devil May Cry 3
PS360: Splatterhouse
ANDROID: Angry Viking
AMIGA: Motörhead
NINTENDO 64: F-ZERO X
and on PC but apparently not on digital copy, Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.2
EXTRA:
Not metal, but made by the bassist of Lightning Bolt: Thumper
Not really metal either, but seem to have nice rock soundtracks (+ MuahahahaMeow think it's an AWESOME game x) ) The Cat Lady
