Runs great, pretty decent port.
My only issues so far:
mouse acceleration which can't be disabled (I think)
Camera speed too fast (Even though it's on the lowest setting possible ingame)
Some shitty textures but most are acceptable
Oh yeah and it does take a while before you get the real 'menu' where you can adjust your FOV and some other settings.
Capcom really suprised me to be honest. I didn't play their latest games because I remember hating them because of some very crappy ports but hey this is nice. Still hope to get a patch to fix those minor issues though ^^

Lol... instead of the 13.6 Gigs I was expecting it to download... it took up over 25-30 just during the process before install... I had to keep deleting things to find room. Finished and installed but only started the prologue for a few minutes and then quit... kind'a laggy and some textures look really bad. About to give it another go here soon.

This is honestly one of those games where I'd ignore the previewers/reviewers - because you either really hate it, really love it, or are completely ambivalent towards it - with the majority falling in one of the two prior categories.
Frankly traditional RE fans don't seem to like this one that much, which ended up being the main reason I looked into it - they got rid of the slow deliberate pacing, it isn't cheesy survival horror now, the control scheme seems a little less like a spazzy 6 year old created it (only slightly though), etc. Don't get me wrong, I loved the original game - I mean the original Japanese version, which I still have, but from 2 up to 5 I couldn't get into them - I'm hoping this one changes that.

I'm an old RE fan but I just think of it as a nameless zombiegame without thinking it being Resident Evil.
I do hate the fact we aren't getting RE games like the old ones but whatever compared to other games nowadays it's good enough to have some fun and waste your time.

Hmmm, shouldn't be - I don't have it in my list of games and didn't want it... Here try this while I try to find out which bundle it was I purchased two of (accidentally) - https://humblebundle.com/s?gift=4TXZdeqDM2uK

Unfortunately, I'm the one who's having issues. I'm ok with the game, it's not perfect, but co-op should be fun. But it keeps crashing for me in the end of metro in Leon's campaign. ;; To be honest, I tried the pirated version before buying it, cuz benchmark didn't want to give me any playable fps, but RE5 worked fine for me and there're no major graphics improvments. So I installed it and completed this stupid tutorial and even reached the metro. It was working pretty well, just like RE5 did. I was all happy and I had a friend who was looking for a mate to play with, so I decided to buy it. And, well, I bought it and completed the damn tutorial once more, went to the metro like I did on the pirated the version and then when I walked through it and reached the exit I got d3derr fatal error. Cool story. I don't know what to do, I'm not sure if they're even going to fix it. ;;

I know right? But there're still no Beta drivers for RE6. Ofc it was the first thing I was looking for.

I'm finding it impossible to play online with anyone at the moment. Me and a friend tried for a while but it would not allow us to join. Even after trying to join other lobby matches, we both got the same error. I'm convinced the co-op doesn't actually work yet, which is shocking, Capcom.......

Well, there is about a 5 to 15 minute prologue you have to play through before you hit the actual Menu Screen - if for any reason you don't finish this, it does not save any of the prior activity (configuring settings, gameplay even after it says it saved, etc.) - so just be aware of that. Oh yeah, until you do that you don't have the "Quit" option either.
The forums over at Steam are filled with all sorts of issues, but so far my only real gripe besides the above is that it keeps trying to auto-switch me to mouse & keyboard, even though they aren't anywhere near me. I'm using the 360 gamepad and based on some complaints about how the mouse and keyboard work, that is the way to go.
I'm not even an RE fan, but this looked interesting - anyone else pick it up or have any issues with it?
There are 5 giveaways created by me, soon to be a sixth; 4 are public and one is private - some of them contain hints to the private giveaway, which in turn will house the hint to the final giveaway...eventually. I need at least 10 people to find the 5th giveaway in order to unlock the sixth and trust me, it is worth it...
