make sure they are enabled.

I enabled them with the help of Nexus Mod Manager and FOMM.
Moreover, while I load the Director's Chair the game crashes upon launching. I really want to play it with some visual umpf cause I never been able to get myself to finish it before and why not get it to look a little better :)

make sure you have all required files and make sure if you had dlc that is will work with all the dlc or has the patch to work with it
also make sure it will work with the mods you already have installed

Be sure to read the installation instructions for each mod and install all prerequisites. Like, in order to access those mods from within the game, you have to use the MCM mod (which is stated in the mods description). Moreover, there are different versions of the mods available, of various degrees of compatibility with each other. I believe you need to install Dynavision 3 in order to use Imaginator and Director's Chair.

it is fine to install more then one mod at a time but it is best to only launch the game with one at a time it makes it a lot easier to narrow down any conflict what i mean is if you installed say 10 mods select on at a time run the game then select the next one
as it could be a lot things most common is missing required files to run it or missing the dlc
or trying to run to mods together without a patch so they play nice together
try selecting one mod at a time and run the game and repeat and keep track of the ones that do not run

Use FOMM, it works a lot better in my opinion. Also check the load order of the mods. You have to read each mod to see which order it tells you to load them in. Usually DLCs come first before anything else. If something breaks, check to see you have the right version of the mod. Some mods have additional files for the dlcs and some have a separate file for non-dlcs. READ carefully because a very simple mistake could break everything. If you're going to use a lot of mods, I would recommend Mod configuration menu (MCM) or something similar as it allows you to change mod settings in game.
Well, good luck! Modding is loads of fun especially when you can get a bunch of mods that work together very well. It makes an already awesome game even better!

Well, I installed some visual mods like the Imaginator, Dynavision and a couple others along with the Director's Chair mod but my problem is that I cannot access them from inside the game in order to actually change something with them.
Halp!
