Yeah ROME:TOTAL WAR! I love this game way too much. I wish it were separate keys so I could give that one away here.
Edit: AND Alpha Protocol for $1? Tier 1 is insta-buy.
Tier 2 has Binary Domain, which I thought was _over_rated (based on the videos I saw online, not on playing it myself) but according to the tags and reviews on Steam, I'm completely wrong on this. The reviews are glowing.

What happen if I buy the second tier when I already have The Typing of the Dead? Will HB gave me a separate key or something like that or the extra game will be wasted?

Well, shit. I guess Binary Domain can wait till summer.

At its cheapest, BD is almost $4. You're already paying $1 for Tier 1, so Tier 2 is $5. So: Are the other Tier 2 games worth the final ~$1?
Renegade Ops: 98% Thumbs-up reviews on Steam, lowest price ever: $3.74
Medieval II Total War: 100% Thumbs-up reviews on Steam, lowest price ever: $2.49
I think those two combined are worth $1.26. I wouldn't wait.

Hmmm I see your point but the thought of a key wasted just like that... Is there any way for me to get Sonic instead of TTotD?

As far as i know: Yes, Company of Heroes is Cut. From what i have read: It is only in German language and they changed "Nazi" and "SS" to "Krauts" or "die Deutschen". So they only changed words and other languages are not available and didnt cut other content - thats what i found out when i researched. But ofc: Not 100% sure, all info from the interwebs.

Alpha Protocol is well worth the $1 alone. I bought it when it was $2 on Steam a few years ago. A hidden gem that every non-linear RPG fan should play, despite some technical issues.

If I change my country to Germany, will the key that's listing Typing of The Dead in it instead give me Sonic when I click Redeem? Even after changing to Germany and refreshing numerous, it still says it has Typing of The Dead. Kind of waiting to redeem my link until someone can confirm this method works, because if it can't I'll just leave it.

iirc its the big name bundles that tend to be one key per tier i think, other ones i can remember is popcap one which is EA and the codemasters one, afaik humble themselves are the only bundle site to do tier keys but then theyre the only site that has big name companies taking part really :)

I have read and understand that the content of the tiers does not change if you gift the tier itself. So if you buy BTA (with sonic) in germany you can gift the second tier to someone in the US and he also gets sonic.
But can you also do this with the complete bundle? So buy the full bundle here in germany as a gift (!) and send the gift to someone in the US. Will he still have sonic in this bundle if he redeems the gift url? Anybody did this before?

One key per tier.
Tier 1 ($1)
Company of Heroes
Rome: Total War
Alpha Protocol
Hell Yeah!
Tier 2 ($6)
Renegade Ops
Binary Domain
The Typing of The Dead: Overkill / Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed (GERMANY ONLY)
Medieval II: Total War
SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics (Emulator + following games as DLC for it)
Shadow Dancer
Comix Zone
Crack Down
Ecco the Dolphin
Gain Ground
Golden Axe
Shinobi 3
Space Harrier II
Vectorman
Altered Beast
Free DLC (aka. glorified updates, included with every copy of game, can't be added from steam store, so these has to be included)
Typing of the Dead: Overkill - Football Manager
Typing of the Dead: Overkill - Make War not Love
Tier 3 ($15)
Shogun 2
Old stuff
Since no one has posted this yet and with all Sega sales, someone might want to wait before buying.
(otherwise it wouldn't show up). Germany gets low violence version of Tier 1.
(From Bundle sites afaik Humble Bundle is only one that has previously had region specific keys.)
So it could be HB, but also be steam store bundle, as it uses new billingtype 10 ("Steam Store + Retail Key"),
so this can't be used to determine.
It certainly looks like bundle with Tier 1 having older / more common stuff and Tier 2 newer.
Sega Group 1
Sega Group 1 (DE)
Sega Group 2
