If someone redeems the Dead Island Definitive Edition from a NA purchase, could you please link the subID? Curious if it's a NA region locked key.
When it was in November 2018 Choice it had a very extensive set of region locks.

Dead Island Definitive Edition is {sub/106622}; despite the "EU" in the name, it's a ROW key that can be redeemed anywhere.
The bundle wasn't purchased in NA, but everyone should receive the same thing.
Fanatical doesn't complicate themselves with extensive region locks like Humble Bundle does. For instance, the heavily locked Hero's Hour from Humble is now ROW for everyone.

If Fanatical continue with these huge discounts on the Euro price (currently a 12.5% discount vs the GBP price) I think I'll start using a VPN. Has anyone resorted to this with them before?
This isn't the bundle to make me bother though, as I already own The Ascent.

if you do find a VPN that is not detected by Fanatical and a payment method accepted with that IP, then the purchase sure works, but the order has a high chance of being manually flagged. It takes several hours until they approve it, and sometimes they just decline it if they don't like you. It's also possible that your account gets flagged and if you do this repeatedly perhaps you can even get your account closed, although so far I haven't heard anyone reporting that they were suspended.

Thanks! So it sounds like it'll take quite a bundle to make me bother, and I'd likely set up a new account for Euro purchases.
Effectively this just means I won't be buying any Fanatical bundles that have the same price in GBP and EUR.

unfortunetly you are very wrong with manually flagged approve time it takes about 5-15 mins never had any problem with being on vpn and had some kinda a trouble with purchase aauthentication ,approvals etc and 99% of their bundles im buing with usd or cad , but yes no all vpns work - and im on vpn about 3-4 years now so no theres no closing account flags or whatever :)

I use a VPN to get it for USD price instead of GBP. I use a Revolut card and an alternative account. (best exchange rate, my cards charge me like 5% currency conversion)
I had an issue in the past with different VPN IPs getting blocked at purchase. But it never manually flagged or anything. I always try to use USA VPN to prevent the majority of region locks.
I have used it for about a year, no issues.

The 20% on the dollar must be because of VAT as they're UK-based but yeah, paying more for same games feels a bit unfair. I guess Fanatical's hands are tied or they'd be losing out.

I'd be surprised if they aren't collecting VAT / equivalent on European sales at the same rate of 20%, so the pre-tax dollar equivalents are: Euro $18, US $20, UK $20.80.
While I'd be surprised I'd love to be wrong so that I can get on with my life and stop being annoyed by this :)

That tax pays for our NHS among other things in the UK.
Though i always thought US pay some sort after-sales tax too.
You should try buying an E-bike from the UK ,the VAT is painful.
Government will likely go after you if you publicly declare you're avoiding your dues on tax payments :).

Fanatical continuing to make killer bundles a disappointment after they used to be high quality and reasonably priced..
Also I might be the only one here that bought Corpse Factory on release. I gave it a negative review. It's "ok" and comes close to being a good VN but doesn't quite get there. Definitely nowhere near worth the price of this bundle lol

BYOB is more preferable for fanatical, since their game pool is limited, fixed bundle like this will always contains dupe.
