Yep. This is definitely the case for about the past year. I think the Origin bundle was the first HB where I noticed this. If the original batch of BTA titles aren't of interest, you're probably not going to do much better with the bonuses.

I didnt purchase this bundle, only b/c I own literally everything already. Its still a great value at the BTA tier.

I bought the 1$ when price for BTA was 5.3$, so this means I only have to pay 4.3$ more to get BTA. Do this next time, buy the 1$ when price is cheap, so after 1 week you decide pay rest or not.

X-COM: UFO Defense is good game, some say it's better than the new one. It's very dated though for UI and graphics.

Ufo Defence is great, Terror From the Deep is awesome! I heard that Apocalypse is also very nice, but didn't play it yet, so i can't make recommendation.

X-COM: UFO Defense is fantastic, but is very old. If you want to play it you should use OpenXcom.
Terror from the Deep and Apocalypse are good too, but also pretty old.

Mondays for Flash Bundles, Tuesdays for maybe new Bundles.

Well waiting can has it downsides too, I get on the BTA almost as soon as it was put up so it only cost me a little over $4, if I waited and the items added today were of interest it would have cost me double that.

Nope. If you want to upgrade to BTA, you do not need to pay current BTA price, you need to pay the BTA price of the time when you bought it.

But the opposite is also true. I've had times where it was cheaper to rebuy the entire bundle at BTA price than to increase my existing bundle to BTA level. Its a gamble either way, unless you're able to get it when the bundle first hits and is a price that is likely the lowest point.

Quite early 5.50$ was well worth for Spec Ops, Bioshock 2 and Mafia 2 alone. Why would some newly added older games decrease the value of the bundle? The 'good' ones ( as I read about them, old XCOM games are great anyways) will stay there anyways.

I admit I was hoping for Borderlands 1 (already had NBA 2K14 and Borderlands 2 through Playstation Plus, and already have Civ 5).

Totally not expecting the X-Com pack, but if I didn't already have it, I'd be psyched. UFO Defense and Terror From the Deep are awesome classics.

Shitty? Have you actually played any of them? Enforcer and especially Terror from the Deep are masterpieces of the genre ! If you don't like the added games, it doesn't mean it's a BS bundle, other people like myself love the addition.
