He has a week to send you your gift - if he hasn't sent it by then, mark it as not received and move on. And, FWIW, a lot of gifters don't like being added on Steam and prefer to send the gift to the email you provided when you signed up.

This doesn't actually work this way.

Instead, after a weeks wait period ends, you should send a mail to inbox@steamgifts.com and explain the situation, so the powers that be can investigate and finalize the situation.

The said auction only ended 2 days ago, so the gift giver has 5 more days to get around to sending it.

Yeah seriously, don't start a witch hunt after only 2 days... And I don't blame him for not accepting your friend request, after all the scammers that tried to get the winners games, by changing their name + profile picture to match the winners profile and adding the gifter in steam.

seriously though is your sense of self entitlement to a game that you don't own or have any entitlement too other than the goodness of someone's heart mean that you cannot even read the faq or be patient? I mean maybe the gifter works for a living and can't get online for a couple days so he can afford to gift you a freakin game...
