Crytek wants to do "steam+facebook" with their GFace and they say they will add movie and music contents to GFace in the future. So if they want to be a competitor to steam with gface, maybe steam will make move about movies and music too.

Holy shit...I was going to try a argue why this would be complete shit. However, the more and more I think of this the better it gets. As Steam lets you download your games anywhere, you can also download movies anywhere.

This is something I've been thinking about also, ever since they started with "Big Picture Mode" Having games + Movies on the same easy nav plat, would be great for us slacker that want to lay in bed all day ;P ..maybe even add music :)

Like others have mentioned, issues with ratings and what can be viewed in specific countries varies far too much for it to be viable.
