you send the winner the key

You type what you wrote down into an e-mail then send it to the winner or into the chat box after adding the winner on Steam.

You can send the key to the winner too as this site allows that. Just friend him on Steam and send him the key through chat or mail the key itself to his e-mail account. I personally would never do the latter option though.

Go here, open up the winner (it gives you their email). Send the email the key to the game, and you're done!

Alternatively, open up the winner, add them on Steam, give it to them through chat.

Well for me I would use my anti virus to get rid of it, however if its a virus that duplicates itself I would boot up my computer in safe mode and wipe any sort of trace of it.

As for my friends... one of them poured soda on his hard drive to "kill" the virus I told him he had.

You can either do two of the following:

A: Add the winner on Steam, Send in Chat, Take Screenshot as proof of send, Ask them to Activate it, Ask them if they had it Activate Successfully, Ask them to Click Receive, Rinse, Repeat!

Or my untested way(never done it myself. Always resorted to A:)

B: Send the Gift Winner a email by copying his email address to you're email address book, Compose a Message Consisting of how they won and here is there key, Ask all the questions from A:, Wait for response, Sleep, Check, Sleep, Check, Sleep, Repeat a bunch of times, Once they respond, Rejoice or Write a ticket depending on if they clicked Received or Screwed you over.
