I think it's demo

Just July, damn that's pretty shitty, especially since it's the first game where I was in time in a long while.

Unfortunately it's very likely, since it's exactly what they did with the game previously in promotion, Bloodroots. The demo could be claimed on the game's Steam page and also by subscribing to their newsletter on their website, but keys were handed out anyway as a way to garner attention.

It activated as package ID 221085
Looks like there's 4 subids for the game, one of which (221085) was updated three days ago, so maybe they're going to revoke the 221085 subid on the 31st?

Thats the store subid so thats not likely. The reason for the update is because the game was added for the week long deal. The only way this is going to stop working after 31st is if they revoke all the keys, which I doubt they will do.

the last change was 2 months ago
the change from 2 days ago was a global changenumber
read more here https://steamdb.info/faq/#changenumber
so yeah, they can revoke the whole sub for all the users who activated it

What level do you have on AW Arena dude? Not so long time ago there was Deathgarden™: BLOODHARVEST Steam key giveaway. When I activated the key, it added 2 extra Deathgarden gifts at my inventory. I traded these 2 gifts for 2 games from my wishlist- Dishonored and Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Oh, Deathgarden™: BLOODHARVEST giveaway was for level 20. You can reach 20 lvl soon now, but reach 30 lvl is much harder, it needs 2000 ARP from 20 to 30 lvl

It's 200 points per level from lvl 15 (which is 1000 points total). You can get a guaranteed 4 points from up voting 20 posts or comments total that day, 1 point for logging in with non of the consecutive login bonus', they will always have a quest available to click, sometimes multiple quests, all garnering no less than 1-3 points minimum depending on the quest, often more.
So you're looking at about 10 points per day, period. You can handle the math from there.

When I ckick on Get key button , it says Information! You have been assigned a key! You should receive a notification and an email shortly with details.

Yeh ,i had that the other day ,i think it happens when the site is getting overloaded or certain browser addons might be interfering .
If you go to your account ,the key should be there.
If you still can't see the key in your "giveaways" list in your account
then try (in firefox browser) right clicking on that "giveaways page (in your account section) and "view page source" ,scroll down through that "source page" and the keys you've had should be somewhere on there.

it's not demo !! I already clamed and already appeared 1+ in my steam library.

The keys are for the full game but I'm guessing since you can only play till the 31st the devs are going to revoke the batch of keys that are being used on Alienware Arena. The keys probably shouldn't be used in a giveaway.

developer gaved at least 4k keys at steelseries, i do not know how much alienware had, so if he will revoke about 6k keys, i have bad news for them..., and its most retarted move and scummy.

On Steelseries it's titled as a July Steam Key.
"Claim Your July Steam Key & Start Playing With Up to 8 Friends!
This key will give you access to the game through July 31st."
It might be a good idea to update the OP with the info. Some people won't read the details on Alienware Arena or Steelseries. Listing it in the OP might help prevent people on here from making giveaways though.

https://steamcharts.com/app/752170 10 players, wow, nice practices, that dev can be reported now by many people if he revokes those keys.

I've actually tried to reach out on the discussion board earlier to one of the devs to see if I could try to put things into perspective that revoking the keys will actually hurt their game pop. It's hard enough for games like these to get a good pop online, revoking keys from people playing currently is just a bad idea.

TBH, people just don't read, they see that there is a new deal, click on it, click the link, get their key and rush on Steamgift to get it up as fast as possible in hope to get maximum CV for it while they didn't pay for the game.
Sometimes, even if you try really hard to hold people's hand (aka I wrote a comment on all the giveaways I could find the pasts hours), they just don't care and hope the fraud will just work out. From all the messages I sent to warn those people, messages that without any doubt popped in their mail, only ONE person answered and this person deleted their giveaway.
All considered, it's a win win for those who are giving away those games. The only persons who may have problem would be the winners, you cannot set a not receive months later, if it's written as not claimed over a month later you won't have any problem either, only if you try to join some invitation giveaway checked with sgtools.

You can give them the benefice of the doubt, but you also shouldn't be naive, especially when you are trying to warn them personally. You can't deny that I went out of my way to warn them, you can't deny that the majority of them ignored what I wrote.
I also agree with the solution though, but to be honest, it's already too late. The problem is there may be other games like that in the future, there is very little that can be done than deleting the giveaways which shows that the game isn't anymore on the account August 1st.
This is a discussion, I'm opened to opinions so long we don't throw each other rotten tomatoes ^^ !
Rushing to post new giveaways as soon as there are brand new bundles games is a practice I noticed over the pasts months, at least, to me it seemed to be crystal clear that there was a huge pop of game a few hours after the bundles would release, then the amount of games would suddenly drop down after a few hours.
The only explanation I found was the way CV works, as before a game is being bundled, if it already has been posted on the website, it's counted as full CV, only games added after being tagged as bundled are hit my CV loss.
I don't know how it works exactly, aka I don't know if the bundle part is taken in account from the day of the release, if it's hours later, if it's the exact hour, etc. but I bet that a lot of people who know about that loss of CV and the fact it doesn't happen before the bundled tag don't exactly know when it occurs as well, which push them to rush post anything that could grand them bonus CV, even more when it's a free games which never has been bundled before.
From my perspective, that how we get a spike of giveaways of brand new bundled games the firsts hours after a release. If it's the case, then the solution should be a clear explanation of how and when the CV loss is applied. People who post their giveaways ASAP in hope to have max CV would either decrease or increment depending of how the bundle tag is applied.
This is why I was speaking of that on the previous post, because comes a point it's hard to level up and getting bonus CV for a game that is free is a nice treat, as you know that you'll get only a little percent out of bundles which you bought with hard money.
You cannot deny that people, even if there is no actual gain, like to "level up" and such thing. Steam is a good example of that, as the leveling system, the badges and cards don't give you any advantage against someone who doesn't have any of those, yet people buy games just for the sake of cards and badges which I find personally fascinating.
Again, that's just opinion, consider it as you wish, I'm just a group psychology nerd and this is exactly the sort of stuff that I like to observe.

You can give them the benefice of the doubt, but you also shouldn't be naive
It has nothing to do with naivete. I simply choose not to assume the worst of people. This is a giveaway site, and free keys are allowed here, and it's entirely possible some people missed the demo period posted (which is precisely why I'd also requested the OP of this thread add it to the OP), have troubles reading English, etc, etc.
The solution is simple.
Have you sent a support ticket?

Up to you too just pick one tidbit of sentence over the wall of text I wrote.
In case you didn't notice, you're actually answering to a reaction to FateOfOne's message who has a support label next to their name. I think that you have your answer.

Thank you :) It's actually my 3rd. I joined in 2016, although I really wasn't around for the first year.

First of all, this game had a prior giveaway through IGN Prime, and that is what caused it to become 0 CV over a month ago.
Therefore, 0 CV did NOT occur here because of the recent beta/limited time keys.
I don't think we know for a fact that SteamGifts will mark a game as 0 CV even when a "giveaway" with limited access/beta occurs - Do we? If so, then technically SG could mark 0 CV for any game that's ever had a free weekend on Steam, but perhaps there's some nuance between free Steam weekend and beta/limited access keys.
Comment has been collapsed.
Because it's all done manually by staff on SG, the answer would be no. A game that has only ever been given away on Steam itself for free (or free weekend) won't go down as a 0 CV game because, in that instance, there are no keys for hoarders to exploit on this site. ;)

Ugh, there's a bunch of these being offered in gifting and non-gifting sites, and there's no way to tell whether they're from recent giveaways or IGN Prime.
I was offered a key through non-gifter means, I asked them where they got it, they give me a vague answer, and despite the very site we were on listed the game as having limited access keys, they laugh me off when I ask for proof their key isn't from Alienware/Steelseries.

Hello,
the demo give a limited content for an unlimited time to everyone, like most other demos.
The partnership with Alienware and Steelseries give access to the full game but only for one month and only for a limited amount of players. The intention is to test if the online system still run properly with a larger amount of players playing at the same time.
Those keys won't affect other players.
This is also a way to try to make more people discover the game and get more feedback. Community feedback are very useful to help us to improve the game. Thank you so much for sharing your taught about the game. We are a new little indie studio self-publishing our first game on steam. With the huge amount of game on PC it's difficult to get noticed.
