In my case, Yirg is a short for Yirgacheffe - my favorite type of Ethiopian coffee beans.

What's the meaning of your username?

Oh, and meet Millie, Pester and Pongo :-)

Minei is self-explanatory.
But was obsessed with the phoenix way back in 1995.
Then used it the first time when I played LAN StarCraft.

"cj complex" makes it sounds like a medical condition relating to the GTA character LOL.
you: "I find myself stealing people's bikes a lot, running over a lot of people and stealing dead people's money. I also keep hearing a middle age black man tell me that all I had to do was follow the damn train.. what's wrong with me doc??"
doctor: "ah, yes.. it appears you have a bad case of te CJ complex"

Lol you are not the first person to mention that game to me :P.
I actually loved that game as teenager so I am glad that some peeps feel it is a reference to that :P.
Had to get my grandpa to buy it for me since they just passed a law at the time that prevented me from doing so ;(

My stepfather used to call me Rolóca ("ó" is the same as o, just longer) based on my first name (Roland). And I liked the name really much, so it became my username :D

P.S.: You pronounce it as you see it. I hate that everyone in voice chat pronounces "c" as "k"

Mármint tényleg c-vel? Érdekesen hangozhatott. :)

A c-t képesek angolosan k-val ejteni. És mivel a magyar nyelv szabályai szerint a -ka, -ke kicsinyítő képző, ezért még belül is rosszul esett :D

Well, that's due to different pronunciations in different languages. Just saying, but I would have pronounced it as "k" too. And tbh, I don't even know how else to say it? o_O

In english if "c" isn't pronounced as "k" - like in words city or centre - it's pronounced as "long s". But in Poland it's pronounced like this. You don't have any "long" sounds like in "snake". It's short and quite different :D

Interesting, thanks for clarifying! In German, we only have 'c' in combination with 'k' or 'h' and and most of the time both sounds are basically just like a 'k'. So thank you :D
(And tbh, I kinda actually forgot about those English words and I could only think of stuff like 'could' or 'actually' or whatever - words where 'c' is pronounced 'k', basically.)

I love the meaning of your nickname, Yirg, I would never thought of this explanation and it's so unique! :)

When a was a kid, I loved reading Princess Diaries (oh well...) and the main protagonist's name was Mia. I liked this name so much I became Mia (or MetalMia, as I was a metalhead later on; oh well again...) everywhere. Then I watched Pulp Fiction and I switched to Mia Wallace, it was a nice explanation when I grew out of Princess Diaries :D I still use "Mia" from time to time. Anyway, it became a bit childish to use it everywhere, so I decided to use Amelia instead, as Mia can be a short form of this name. Now I needed something to add and well, one day I just figured it out. I treat "Kills" like a kind of surname, let's say Amelia R. Kills is my alter ego :D

Amelia R. Kills is awesome. Does Steam forbid using spaces or other space-like characters (e.g. " " <- Alt+0160) in nicknames?

Thank you :) R. stays for Raven as I'm a big Edgar Allan Poe fan. When I need a nickname and AmeliaKills is too long, I'm ARKills instead. It's harder to know I'm a girl then, but whatever :)

Spaces are okay with Steam nicknames, I just prefer the way my fake "name and surname" looks like together.

I wanted a username that I could use everywhere, and be (almost) sure it won't be taken. So I removed all the vowels from my full name and lmxn is what I got. (: But then I learned that some places require at least 5 characters for a username, which I then add 0.0 or 0_0 (I thought it was cute then...)

Justin Sane is the name of the lead vocalist for Anti-Flag, a band that me and my friends used to listen to a lot back in the day! They really had a strong impact on me. Catchy tunes and energetic performance, I can listen to them all day long at one time! Not so much now though, maybe I'm just getting a bit old =.='

Also, kudos to AnarcoPunkRJ to be the first person ever other than my high school mates to guess it right! :D

BLUWOLF was the personalized plate I put on my truck in New Mexico. Because the truck was blue and the name evoked some nice imagery from southerwestern art. I thought it worked great as a username afterward, so I was BluewolfNM for a long time. Then BluewolfCA after I moved to California.
