rpg or mmorpg probably a bit more , but I love all kinds of games really :P

Action/Adventure, Zelda games etc...

And it's right, the those are the top 3 genres I play, although "shooter" should be replaced with "First Person games" or at least "FPS".

Mostly RPG, FPS/TPP and Adventure games.

Horror games are great and also love some good indie games :D

Ever since I was a kid, RPGs have kept me entertained longer than any other genre. Especially RPGs with great stories.

I enjoy sim games the most. Survival sims,City building sims,Grand strategy/Strategy sims,Martial arts Combat sims,Vehicle/Flight sims,Military shooter sims,etc. Reason is because they allow you to have a large rage of entertainment while adhereing themselves to realistic gameplay mechanics. With those mechanics in place you get to get a true feel for how well each genre of game is.

Do no think a "rpg" cannot be a simulator as well. There are a small number that are sims that have a lot of "real life" aspects put into them.Combat systems,designing,etc in sim games are what make the "genre" specific games in my opinon. Even though you might think of Arma 2 (for example) as a fps its more of a sim then a shooter its just in the fps category. Games like SWAT were also considered "sims" as much as their categorized genre.

Sims tend to get a bad rap as being dull and boring,however some people would be surprised if they played a sim game that fits in a genre they like how much fun they are.A Sim game tends to be looked as as either a city builder or a game vehicle driving/piloting game but even something like The Sims happens to be a simulator.Yes all genre of games have "simulators" in them for a good portion of the gameplay mechanics but those are mostly called A.I. and does not warrent them as a sim.
