I'd say none. I don't trust Websites that sell Cd-keys.

From what I can say, I got RO2 from them, and had no problems till now. No VPN, actual region free key, activated on Steam.
I talked with them and they said they buy from trustworthy sources (e.g. 1C publishers) and not some bogus sites.
In anyhow, it is the first time I saw that Trustpilot, and yes - I registered only to give some feedback. But hey, how many of use have account on every website there is? I wouldn't suspect that. I also don't think you can fake so many reviews, especially after what is going on on their Facebook page.

I also don't trust shady new users with private profiles recommending suspicious-looking web stores with a passion.

I'd say "LuNaTiC" is your alternate account.
Besides, I've done 5 giveaways last monday (October 31th) and other two even further back. Plus I did one more for a group.
So no, not shady. You're just looking for a comeback but can't find any.

Well, first: I am sorry. I haven't noticed the number 8.
The list somehow is empty, for open, current and closed giveaways in duck's profile.
Second, I wish "LuNaTiC" WAS my second account. I would LOVE to have that Skyrim in my inventory.
Third, I was pissed off by the fact that a person is being flamed for recommending a site he likes.
So, to sum it up. Let us all be friends again :-)

Some games, such as Witcher 2 I believe, use Steamworks. So any "key" attributed to them is activatable on Steam and will be automagically added to your Steam library (I did this with Prey and Civ V, for instance).
Edit: I'm not certain Witcher 2 is a steamworks game.

I got a few games from here http://cdkeysdiscount.com/ (Witcher 2, Duke Nukem Forever, Red Faction Armageddon, all works of course)
And BF3 from here http://www.intkeys.com/
Don't listen to the people saying those are scamming sites. Yes, there may be some, but many aren't. I even cancelled some preorders without any problem.

Scammed how exactly? I even had BF3 preordered in there (cdkeysdiscount) and cancelled it as soon as I heard Steam would probably have the game before release, and they refunded me without questions in less than an hour.
And I cancelled my Skyrim preorder yesterday from intkeys, at first they didn't want to refund but after another mail they accepted to. So, again, I dont see why both sites would be perfectly fine for me but then scam other people

I got The Settlers 7 from a site like this. Activated just fine, and played it for a while, and then one day Ubisoft revoked it claiming that it was stolen. I still own DLC that I bought from Ubi directly, but can't even play because I no longer own the base game. I've been hesitant to use any such site ever since, as even with success stories it's hard to say if something like this could happen at any time.

This was Directgamekeys.com. I wouldn't be surprised if some purchases never get revoked, but this was the first time I ordered from a site like that and getting burned on the first try does not leave me in a hurry to risk it again on a similar site.

The Witcher 2 IS NOT a Steamworks game! It has Steamworks features if you buy it on Steam, but you can't activate the key on Steam.

I would suggest you plati.ru, but there're 2 problems: 98% keys are RU-only but there're some exceptions (UT3, some of DX: HR, etc, usually they're marked as "worldwide") and they don't allow paypal, only credit cards and WebMoney.

getgamesgo.com has Steam games, but mostly sell non-Steam games like Gamersgate and D2D.
The Steam games they do have (such as Red Orchestra 2) are pretty well priced. They're affiliated with Eurogamer, a popular video game website and host of a large annual games expo in the UK, so I strongly doubt their business is shady.

You can get it direct from the devs at GoG so there's no need to bother with Steam: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_witcher_2

Wait a month for Christmas sale, it's bound to pop up there. If you absolutely need it now.. GMG, because they have the whole credit-for-reviews system..
I'd advise you not to buy anything from CD key sites, because, as a Valve representative told me, they violate EULA, copyright, and possibly some other laws as well. Plus, they are used to overcome region restrictions. Now, it's of course not definite that every account can get caught, but if you do.. you will be banned outright. Not worth the risk, I'd say. Not to mention that many of these sites are Russian and only accept credit cards - and we all know that credit card fraud is THE business in Russia.

In EU and the US it could be considered as tax evasion, so I get why they don't want users to bypass regional pricing and actively monitor user accounts. But outside the US/EU, the control is virtually non-existent. I have never heard of a single user ban or game revokal for a russian game key in my country.

I'm wanting to buy Witcher 2, but I'm wondering if I can get it cheaper elsewhere. So far I know GMG, Direct2Drive, and GamersGate is safe, but I want it to be redeemable on Steam.
Thanks in advance
