List of trustworthy cd-key sites?

I'd say none. I don't trust Websites that sell Cd-keys.

I don't think you can get a steam key any where else.

Don't listen to the people saying those are scamming sites. Yes, there may be some, but many aren't. I even cancelled some preorders without any problem.

The Witcher 2 IS NOT a Steamworks game! It has Steamworks features if you buy it on Steam, but you can't activate the key on Steam.

I would suggest you plati.ru, but there're 2 problems: 98% keys are RU-only but there're some exceptions (UT3, some of DX: HR, etc, usually they're marked as "worldwide") and they don't allow paypal, only credit cards and WebMoney.

getgamesgo.com has Steam games, but mostly sell non-Steam games like Gamersgate and D2D.
The Steam games they do have (such as Red Orchestra 2) are pretty well priced. They're affiliated with Eurogamer, a popular video game website and host of a large annual games expo in the UK, so I strongly doubt their business is shady.

Just check out www.steamunpowered.eu they have all the trusted sites listed. Quit advertising individual sites.
Also check out the cdkeyprices site they have linked on steamunpowered. It searches on the most known key sites for best prices.

You can get it direct from the devs at GoG so there's no need to bother with Steam: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_witcher_2

I don't know if G2Play.net was mentioned but I purchased more than 4 games from them, including The Witcher 2 and received the keys almost 5 minutes after my payment had gone through. =)

Ended up buying The Witcher 2 from g2play due to it's popularity and they emailed me the key within 30 minutes. Thank you very much guys :)

I can vouch for greenmangaming, D2d is another good one. Steam doesn't seem to agree with Witcher2 very good, something about the launcher updates not working well with steams' update system. better off getting it non-steam, imho.

Wait a month for Christmas sale, it's bound to pop up there. If you absolutely need it now.. GMG, because they have the whole credit-for-reviews system..

I'd advise you not to buy anything from CD key sites, because, as a Valve representative told me, they violate EULA, copyright, and possibly some other laws as well. Plus, they are used to overcome region restrictions. Now, it's of course not definite that every account can get caught, but if you do.. you will be banned outright. Not worth the risk, I'd say. Not to mention that many of these sites are Russian and only accept credit cards - and we all know that credit card fraud is THE business in Russia.
