So, this is practically another Left 4 Dead clone, but with a Walking Dead skin. Which evidently did not hear that the formula has been done to death and left by the gaming world half a decade ago.

Vermintide and Killing Floor 2 wants to have a word or two about that half decade part, or basically being able to count the (successful? viable?) games doing "done to death" formula on one hand (Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor, 2 of each if really trying hard. Vermintide being melee focused is a serious change on it)

But this is precisely what done to death means, that the L4D formula is so common and oversaturated that we could probably list games using the exact same formula for days. And that craze peaked around half a decade ago, before many devs switched to churning out an endless stream of DayZ clones.

I have tried the game today and it's very much different from L4D since you SHOULD NOT use your gun by all means unless you dont have any other choice (facing with other groups, dead end,...) because if you keep shooting there will be just more endless walkers coming. Unlike in L4D you can rambo your way out and there is HARDLY ANY AMMO you can find in the game, if you're lucky you'll get like 30 bullets for the whole match.
Also, you have to scavenge in order to upgrade your tools,guns, bandage and collect items to proceed to the next destination other wise you'd be stuck in 1 place forever.
L4D clone ? no way.
Edited: My mistake: You can freely use your gun in a defense mission since you stay in 1 place and wait for walkers to get in in waves

Unfortunately, a key could not be assigned to you. This can occur for one of several reasons, including:
1) We've ran out of keys before we could assign one to you while you were in the queue.
2) You are in a country or region that is not eligible to receive a key.
3) A key has already been assigned to you.

Honestly, the first mission where you have to resist to waves of zombies is not really anything new or spectacular, giving that Killing Floor 2 does the same thing much much better.
Tomorrow i'm gonna try it a bit further, but it's not looking that good. Hey, at least now i know i can skip it without a thought.

it pretty much hard at 1st but when you got to know what you doing things will get much more easy. I didn't know what should I do when I 1st playing and end up f*** up my team.
Again, you should figure it out what should you do and should not, then the game become very enjoyable and easy. I won the 2nd match where you should collect 2-3 water filters and put on the car to go, I manage to get all of 3 water filters while remain the only survivor and wait for my team to respawn. Won that match with pride.
