Contributor Status != Amount Given Away

Just an odd question. My confirmed giveaway received and my contributor status are unequal by a fairly large amount, over $20. Does the value not directly represent the value of gifts given away and received?

If this was prominently documented there wouldn't be threads about it.

You can't know what to ask if nobody's told you what the options are.

True, but you could make an easy search returning hundreds of threads asking the same question.

I'm really glad to see that bundle games don't go towards contributor value, for the last few weeks the entire site has been 90 Humble Bundle 5 items. And I feared that it would cause a massive devaluation of contributor values.
