Steam Guard list of devices

When steam guard and following text appears:

"To easily recognize this browser among the list of devices Steam Guard has enabled, give the browser a friendly name - at least 6 characters"

Can I see or edit the list somewhere?

i don't think so, but since i'm cleaning my browser at least once a day, i just punch in random stuff anyways.

I don't understand the whole thing - what is it for? And what is a friendly name, what if u give an unfriendly name? LOL

If you give it an unfriendly name, the spiders from before the age of lamps will never be cloned.

Yeah, I was curious about that when I saw that for the first time a couple of months ago. Where does all that information go, anyways? It's probably useless, but still, my curiosity has been piqued.
