A fork mostly because my favorite is cheesecake and I like my cheesecake so frozen it is starting to turn into a block of ice and a fork is better for that than a spoon. I could see a spoon if people liked eating their cake mostly with ice cream though since spoons are best for ice cream.

depends on the cake, a gateau needs a spoon but a victoria sponge can be eaten with your hands easily for example

Fork, always. Though I prefer forks for most things for some reason.

I prefer the fork. You can easily suck the cake off the fork without looking like a moron at occasions, spoons make it more difficult. Being I am fat, this is important to me.

Icecream cake I use a fork cause its cold and some times quite hard, least the cookie part is.

If its normal cake then I use fingers.
