I'm still worried about some lines at the end of the reqs: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203428177-Grand-Theft-Auto-V-PC-System-Specs
internet connection required for activation, online play, and periodic entitlement verification;
... and authentication software that recognizes certain hardware attributes for entitlement, digital rights management, system, and other support purposes.
I wonder if this implies the presence of extra DRM for all versions.

It said on the steam page for some time that GTA V would use DRM from R* and hence why Social Club is needed to play it.
Nobody at this point really knows what the entitlement is for and how it will be used,it might just be part of verification to play online to make sure you have a legit copy to go online.I do not see any advantage to having these kind of checks for offline play and you have not needed it before why would they start now?.
.People just assume it is on Steam and it should only use Steam DRM but it is not up to steam what DRM they use,it is only up to Steam as to what DRM they use if you make it steam works, but that is because you are having Steam run everything on there end.
This is why i dislike steam as most of the time it just a glorified game launcher, unless the game is Steam Works,i hate steam but in some cases i have no choice unless i do not want to play said game as some are Steam only.Luckily GTA V is not so i got a R* key so now i do not need steam running just to launch the game.
In the end it would be a dick move it it was needed for offline play, but then again i wonder how many will stop playing it when they get bored of online.

searched myself, seems that then, he also said that game files are encrypted, so now he doubt himself they can decrypt it, so they won't work until game release, but idk, if they really start playing the game I don't think it will be a secret to anyone, like happened with Watch Dogs, ppl beat that game 2 days before it released.

Here is a graphics comparison video PS3/PS4/PC, this is from a popular Youtuber, it was uploaded 3h ago, PC looks slightly or even considerably better than PS4, depending on the screenshots. But this are just screenshots, taken from official site, no real gameplay :S

Can a laptop with this settings run this game ? Should i wait until the release date to find out? With the laptop i have atm i can't run csgo at low , so even playing this game at low would be good.
CPU : Intel i5 4210U 2.7ghz
GPU: Nvidia GFX 840m 2gb
RAM: 4GB upgradable to 8GB (or maybe 16,can't remember tbh)

Well, I'm pretty sure that laptop should be able to run CS:GO, have you tried forceing the game to use your Nvidia GPU?
I also wanted to ask, if I have any chance to run GTA V with my I7-3537u and an GT 740M? I don't have big hopes, but it would nice to get some thoughts from other people =)

What is the difference between the Steam and Rockstar Games Social Club(RGSC) version?
If I have the Steam version, can I play with my friends who have the RGSC version? (vice-versa)
Yes
Will it be a bad port?
GTX 660 or AMD 7870 (recommended specs) = 1080p/60FPS on high
GTX 760 or AMD equivalent? = 4K/30FPS
SLI / Crossfire = 4K/60FPS
Seems pretty reasonable and optimised to me. However I will reserve my judgement until the game is launched.
GTA Online is probably going to be broken on release though. Check out their statement.
"As always, we ask for the GTA PC community’s understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable initial teething issues arise on the new platform. If you do experience issues please visit Rockstar Games Support and send feedback to GTAOnline@rockstargames.com – we’ll be closely monitoring the situation and addressing any hitches as quickly as we can."
No surprises there...
Master race game trailer? (I kid, I kid.)
