Can you have a Deck connected to a Dock, and then plug in 2 gamepads, and output to e.g. HDMI, and then you and a friend play in split or shared screen modes together?
(In games that support it, ofc.)

Sure. And you can also use pads connected to the Deck via Bluetooth.

I mean, it's just 2 USBs and 1 HDMI/DP so it's not even that demanding. I suppose that even some basic third party hub with the needed ports would work just fine.

We played Dysmantle on it while connected to a TV, one controller having cabled and one bluetooth connection if I remember correctly.
It's just a mobile PC with the dock on hand :)
