Strade Bianche - Eroica Pro

How it works

Predict who is going to win the race; that's all. :)

Entries close when the race starts (Saturday afternoon).

Race Preview

It’s like Paris-Roubaix and Amstel Gold Race’s Italian love-child — a hilly route that features rough, unpredictable roads.

At least I am still somewhat on time with this one, compared to the season opener last week. :p

Keeping it short as I am diving Into the Breach again.

Interesting cycling news this week: No more podium girls at Tour de France.

Philippe Gilbert showed in Le Samyn that he's to be reckoned with. ^^

Kwiatkowski has been winning; he's gonna be dangerous too.

That's true and he won this race already twice.

Yup.

I just read this: Laurens ten Dam: The five races that changed my life.

He's my favorite rider of all time and the article just makes me happy. :)

I thought last season was his last...and there he is...or is that an old roster on the site? (I haven't followed any cycling since the Vuelta, shame on me)

Okay, I'll go with Stybar (or Sep Vanmarcke, unofficially.)

Your friend needs glasses to see there's no T in Eroica. :p

Gianni Moscon

I don't like him, but I think he might win.

Peter Sagan, I don't know why, but since he starts, he'll want to win.

Political correctness this, sexism that, blah blah (I'm referring to "no more podium girls"). Soon they're gonna ban models modelling fashion. A person shall be randomly selected to present clothes.

Anyways...

Michał Kwiatkowski

About half an hour before they are airing and commenting the race, here.

And then a good two hours of cycling fun! :-)

I'm watching Een/Sporza right now; the weather sure isn't too Italian... Not many dusty roads in this rain.

And good to see Van der Breggen winning. :D

I'm watching Sporza too and it's rain and cold weather this year.

Congrats with the win of Anna Van Der Breggen in a little over 4 hours.

I'm sure we'll hear more of her this year. :-)

Congrats on Tiesj Benoot's victory!

It was a totally different race than I expected.

Thank you and a nice third place for Wout van Aert! ^^

When the riders crossed the finish they look more like cyclocrossers.

Indeed! ^^

Btw Milaan-San Remo will be aired on VTM and not on Sporza.

Hopefully Milan-San Remo will be broadcast on Dutch tv (NOS).
