I dont think skyrim is that great.

I like CoD and play BO3 regularly and have preordered IW.

I think Bioshock infinite is overrated.

I believe The only good Deus Ex game so far is human revolution.

I think MW2 isnt that great either

I think Every battlefield after 2142 is trash

Alrriiiigghhhtt before i get blacklisted by the entire universe wanna GA?

dark souls III is one of the worst pc ports ive ever played, even though the game is fun(the dark atmos)
Mortal kombat X is a good pc game despite missing dlc :>

Then you haven't played Dark Souls II and Dark Souls because they are a lot worse ports :).
I played all of them with k+m and Dark Souls III is the only game I didn't use external fixes/tools.

Skyrim is overrated imho. It's a solid game but lacks in all departments (I blame the engine).
I really liked playing the CoD campaigns (not a multiplayer kind of guy)
Played GTA5 for an hour and bored me to tears for some reason. The GTA franchise feels meh after San Andreas.
Dark Souls is pretty easy, just need patience and decent reflexes.

Also I'm a sucker for pre-ordering ... and I hate myself for not showing restraint.

Blizzard is the most overrated company that stole all of its ideas and still never managed to make good gameplay before Overwatch (which is 100% stolen ideas mashed together from other games, but finally in a working order).

Valve made only one decent game in their entire existence, Half-Life 1.

GTA stopped being enjoyable when they decided to turn the series realistic. (I felt genuinely dirty in GTAIV after the first large cop-killing shootout, whereas in the previous games they really were more like an "enemy".)

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is the best game of the franchise (although worst farming title).

The worst Final Fantasy core games in terms of writing are VII and X.

Fallout: Tactics was an enjoyable game.

Pillars of Eternity's dialogues are obnoxious and often are little more than some of Obsidian's lead designers wanking at their own greatness.

Mass Effect 2 was the weakest in the trilogy, but had the best DLC of any video game.

Remember Me has a better combat system than the Arkham games.

Nintendo is the only video game console manufacturer company.

TBH I feel almost any combat system is better than Arkhams. It looks good, but on the input-side it's boring, low-impack spectatle fighting. Nice to see, but gets stale to execute it.

As someone who 100%'d both of those games (twice), I can agree. Combat is extremely boring, I have no idea what idiot thought it'd be a good idea to force half of 100% completion to do nothing but the same repetitive combat challenges.

Well, Remember Me in this case means that it uses the same combat system, but made it actually fun and strategic with the combo lab setup. (Plus IMO it controlled better, even if the Arkham fight animations were great and fluid.)

GTA V sucks all around.

Left 4 Dead 2 is still one of the best multi-player games.

Half Life has a better story than most "story based" games since, and is scarier than most contemporary "horror" games (sadly).

Final Fantasy Tactics would be the best PC Final Fantasy game, if they ever bring it to PC.

Jak and Daxter was harder than any Dark Souls game (in addition, I hate 3D platformers).

Fallout 3 and New Vegas both bored me to tears.

Everquest 2 > WoW.

When I reach the level cap I get bored of the game, that's why I don't finish any Fallout game. I currently have NV installed and all that is left to do are two DLCs and the final quest, and I'm determined to finish it this time!

The only thing I can play with a gamepad is Fifa 08.

I'm too dumb for grand strategies.

It helps a lot in FONV to have a mod that decreases the otherwise way too generous XP gain. After I while, I played it with an average of almost 95% XP reduction, and suddenly character build and loadout mattered. :D

I think it's Project Nevada, it giives so much stuff (visors, helmet + armor counts or you die really easy, granade button, weather change if I remember well) - it gives something more, but I don't remember. I found it to be one of the mandatory mods to have a more immersive gameplay

I know of the mods but the battle system is basically the same with or without them. I found the game enjoyable especially when I learned my first shout since it spiced up my battle experience but it gets repetitive and boring pretty fast. I dont know maybe it is just me being disappointed and all about not having any game on steam similar to monster hunter. I thought skyrim is the closest to it that I can get but apparently it was not. I dont regret getting skyrim, in fact I recommend it and im planning to play it again some time in the future. Playing it gave me the perfect idea of my ideal game. A game with monster hunter's battle system and everything else from skyrim (lore, story, depth, etc)

i should note that Fallout 2 is one of the best games ever made

Then time to try Fallout Resurrection - 20+ hour long fan-made expansion to Fallout 2, plays between 1 and 2. I'm only level 3 in it (playing a diplomat is not easy :D ) but so far it *really* feels like fallout 2, I think you would like it :)

Really relaxing, a chill experience. If you feel at peace while driving and actually don't mind spending gaming time with it, it's a great game. But don't feel pressure or anything, it's like if you like walnuts, then you'll love a particular walnut cake. If you don't like it, then don't bother trying because it's not for everyone :)

Ah, yes. For that experience I usually play Stardew Valley. Different things for different people I suppose!
But I have to admit it's quite funny to see people obsess over trucks and their DLCs, especially since they seem to have like three dozens of them xD

I'm exactly inbetween the lovers and the haters :P I really enjoyed when I played it, and If I want what it offers, I would go back to it (or to Stardew V. as you said). But if I want any little action, I will stay away from ETS2. It's a really situational game for me, but I have to admit it's really well done in it's own league.

My dad plays it almost non-stop when he's home. Thing is, he comes home for about a month, every 4 months, because of work. He works as a.. truck driver. I don't understand how he doesn't get sick of it, haha. I was more surprised when I found out it was a rather popular game.

One of my favourite genres are RPG while I have serious trouble finishing any RPG: Either it gets stale after a while, or I get bored of the same game and then can't get back to my save. (ADHD, inner pressure to try something new, etc. for example in Fallout 3 I had like 7-8 characters at least at level 25, yet finished the game ONCE. And I didn't like the end xD )

I really want to like Skyrim but player-scaling environment makes it extremely boring with only different looking enemies. Also, fuck Bethesda. Easy = everything dies fast, hard = enemies are damage sponges, and extremely lacking combat system makes fighting a chore really fast.

I despise SOMA and I have trouble even continuing it. 95% positive on Steam, has a lot of things I love but I feel they fucked it up royally and for some reason only a few people see it. Uninvolved, passive walking sim parts with no horror elements vs sneak around monsters but if you die nothing happens so try again parts. + cheerful, stupidly-clueless voiced protagonist. Having absolutely no risk in the horror department, and the game lacking almost ANY interaction makes me feel it's an arcade game about just going further, than actually immersing into the hero's situation. And no immersion means horror not working :

Metal Gear Rising was my first Metal Gear game.
I liked Doom 3 BFG Edition more than Doom 3 because of the torch.
The only shmup I've managed to 1CC was Strikers II 1945 on monkey difficulty.
I liked FEAR 3, even if I agree the story was mediocre.
I've managed to get 113 stars in Super Mario 64 but I've never beat the final boss, I remember I had tried it twice then I got tired of it and just replayed other levels.
I have used the drake sword until I've reached Blighttown in Dark Souls during my first playthrough.
I have used S.A.M. once but it was to remove an achievement I had unlocked by accident.
I've enjoyed Bad Rats, physics were awful but I've had a great time with it.
I have never finished an RTS.
Final Fantasy was the first turn based RPG I've ever finished and it was a few months ago.
