I like borderlands TPS more than 2.

I dont think skyrim is that great.

I like CoD and play BO3 regularly and have preordered IW.

I think Bioshock infinite is overrated.

I believe The only good Deus Ex game so far is human revolution.

I think MW2 isnt that great either

I think Every battlefield after 2142 is trash

Alrriiiigghhhtt before i get blacklisted by the entire universe wanna GA?

Let's see how many jimmies I can rustle...

G2A is a perfectly legitimate way for end users to acquire game keys, and if developers don't like their practices then they should campaign for more secure payment methods (or, you know... develop one) and/or stop handing out keys like candy to any rando who emails them claiming sketchy pop status on random social media venues. Regional pricing is bullshit, too, and if some Chilean dude can make a few cents selling me my $15 game for $12, more power to him.

There is nothing inherently wrong with piracy, and it's been directly responsible for my spending thousands of dollars I otherwise wouldn't have to support the creators of the content I've consumed.

Bethesda is a fxxx-awful studio filled with people who are fxxx-awful at their jobs, and its games only sell because of the scope of their open worlds; a factor which itself is only "impressive" insofar as no one else is really doing it.

I love games, but I hate the videogame industry, videogames journalism, and most videogaming communities (including, to some extent, the SG forums). The industry runs on borderline-criminal exploitation tactics and outright lies; the journalism is pandering and editorialized at best, paid for by the publishers at worst; and the gaming community is populated by weebs, frat boys and sycophants on one end, and vitriol-spewing sociopaths on the other (yes, I appreciate the irony in this statement after the previous line item).

Bioshock was an incredibly hamfisted attempt at exploring the philosophy of Atlas Shrugged, and it is a total frigging joke.
Spec Ops: The Line was an incredibly hamfisted attempt at exploring videogame morality, and it is also a total frigging joke.

Valve (as a company) embodies a ridiculous amount of hypocrisy and many of its policies with regards to Steam (as a distribution platform) have been responsible for singlehandedly creating some of the biggest issues plaguing PC gaming today. They haven't truly innovated in over a decade, and Steam (as a social network) is a wasteland of unused potential on the magnitude of Google+.

I'm fully expecting that Notch will eventually off himself.

I actually like the fact that games like Call of Duty are linear and short in gameplay. Whenever I play more open shooters like STALKER or Fallout 3, I spend too much time grinding and looting that I never finish the game and eventually get bored.

I started to hate Hyper Light Drifter (used to be hyped by it) after getting my ass beaten by common enemies over and over again.
Still playing it anyway <.<

Fallout3 is boring af.
I don't understand Sonic games, why go fast? it feels like skipping levels.
CSGO is utter shit. 1.3 and 1.6 were really good versions (even Source ver. was way better than GO). I don't understand what people see in this game.
I like modern submarine simulation games.
I hate the term "gamer" and I especially hate when someone asks me "are you a gamer?" No, I'm not, I play games, that's all. Nothing fancy about it.
I didn't like any of the Sakura games. I didn't get what the hype was all about. Sure, the girls look beautiful, but the games are boring shit.

I hate MOBA games.
I hate Hearthstone.
I like short games becuse if the game has long playtime, I get bored during the playthrough and Im not able to finish it.
Whenever I get any a bit valuable CS:GO skins, I lose them by gambling in a while.
Ive never bought a game on Steam for full price.
I think that Garrys Mod is extremely boring.
Ive spent more than 12 hours by playing Fortix and I think its actually good.

Metal Gear Solid is the most overrated series of games in gaming history. Why be so realistic that guards follow your footprints(back in the day groundbreaking) then ruin it with a cutscene where you ride a missile shot at you from an RPG.

Elder Scrolls games are too big, they get boring. I like having stuff to do, but your map is that big I end up not caring about your main quest and never finishing the game.

Lemmings deserves another shot at the big time with a modern audience, best puzzler ever made.

CS:GO is literally the worst shooter I've ever played, bland maps, terrible gameplay mechanics, microtransactions, unobtainable achievements. A mess of a game.

I don't have any. Always been open about my opinions on videogames. Some people here are trying so hard to be edgy tho.

Not really dirty secrets since I don't mind talking about them, but... :p

  • Final Fantasy XIII has a pretty good story and great characterization.
  • FFXIV ARR is a glittering, empty skinner box.
  • Chrono Trigger is a charming classic and still fairly fun to play today. And that's all. Compared to most of today's rpgs, it lacks complexity, has a bare bones story and little to no characterization.
  • Bastion had a great atmosphere and storytelling, but the story itself was far too simple and vague for it to be called a 'masterpiece'.
  • To the Moon's story was a huge tragedy, but it had nothing to do with the guy's death. He basically regretted his whole life and couldn't live with his choices - to the point he asked the two doctors to create an alternate one. Now that's terribly sad.
