ryu ga gotoku series(for the first two use pcsx 2), bayonetta series and metal gear solid 3 i found had pretty cool boss fights. but there is a lot to list. watch some basic gameplay of these games that everyone suggests first, to know what you're getting yourself into and if it suits your personal taste- my advice

ryu ga gotoku IS Yakuza right? Or is it an entirely different game?

yes it is the same game. i just don't like how the people from the west call it. it should really be known as "Like a dragon"(original name) and not just yakuza

boo bunny plague its pretty hard and is almost completely boss fights. the other small amount of gameplay sucks and i couldn't follow the story at all but it was mildly funny, but some of the boss fights were fun and interesting.

As stated by others before in this thread I would recommand Ys: Origin, Ys: The Oath in Felghana and also La-Mulana although those games make you wanna throw your controller at the wall. If you are only looking for challenge in action you should probaby stay away from La-Mulana since there is a huge ordeal needed to even get to them and you may be put off by the somehow limited controlling possibilities of your character.

I don't know if anyone mentioned, but I think you would like Titan Souls.

You just reminded me that I have the whole mass effect series...and I haven't played any of them yet! Guess I better get on it

Marauder Shields is more like internal ME fanbase meme, than really game boss.
And If you want to play all of them for the first time better start with ME1. Otherwise after beating ME2 (and especially after ME3) game mechanics and controls from ME1 will be pretty terrible for you :D

Super Mario Bros. on the NES. Man was that last fight hard! It took the most of five seconds to beat!

Never got into Darksiders, I normally like games like that, cause I really enjoyed the entire DMC series, but for some reason Darksiders felt really sluggish. I should probably give it another chance, or maybe just skip the first and try the second to see if I like that better.

Okay, so I have an urge to play some games with some great boss fights, recently started playing bloodborne, so I'm in a challenging mood..haha. I'm thinking maybe a game like Shadow of the Colossus but feel free to suggest everything that you enjoyed..I'm just looking for some great boss fights!
I'm trying to find boss battles to where you feel challenged, and spike the controller in celebration when you beat them. lol
I'd prefer if all suggestions were PC games but I have most consoles, so feel free to suggest everything, and if they have co-op that's a bonus as well.
