Failed to contact key server

Well, I've played Borderlands for 7 hours. I played it yesterday. I start it today and Bam!! Failed to contact key server!
Well, what do I do?
And another thing, a game called Bloodline Chronicles popped up in my library, it is not available in my region but still it popped up. So, by the way, what do I do to start Borderlands?

Start directly from folder.

Steam is having problems with givin wrong updates so do far and disable updates for time beign.
