Thanks. I have one question, how could i make a giveaway, when nobody can join because nobody created a giveaway before to able to join my giveaway? (-All new members must create within 1 week and successfully complete their giveaway before winning any existing giveaways.)

Make your giveaway time 1 week, hopefully more people will have joined by then,
if it's unsuccessful its fine, just try again until we get more members.

this rule just doesn't work for a new group...you should get rid of the " complete their giveaway
before winning any existing giveaways." part until the group has some members

Yeah that's the plan, i was thinking to make it like that after stfx2000 commented about it,
The rule has been removed, you guys can just relax for now its fine, a few more should join once they come online,

How can one resist toxic giveaways? But how can we know the rules if we're not ex-members of Arise?
Edit: I'm probably slightly confused because I don't expect the rules to be as simple as two rows of text :P

Group Rules:
. Giveaways must last 24 Hours minimum to give everyone a chance to join..
. Avoid giving away games that many members already own.
. Do not give more than 10 copies of the same game at a time.
. Keep your ratio positive, failure to fix a negative ratio after 1 month.will result in a penalty.
. (Giveaway entry ban until fixed / Removal from the group)
. Post your giveaways in the giveaways thread.
. DLC giveaways are not allowed, unless it comes with the base game
. Multiple group giveaways are not permitted, unless the game is non-bundled.
. Show other members respect and be polite to one another.

Ah, thank you. I was not that confused then. I just found it odd that you had to be invited to read the rules. Shouldn't this be in OP?
Edit: What's with the insistence to post giveaways in a Steam forum thread in almost every group? What's the purpose of this and is it so important that it has to be a rule about it?

No i hope to make it more relaxed here then it was at arise,
Your ratio must be positive, members with a negative ratio will be given 3 months to fix it.
( I realize ratio groups can be pretty stressful, so i have excluded the ratio checker for this group)
its not 1:1 anymore, just try not to have a negative for a long time, i will let you know if it becomes a problem.

why is there a link to https://steamdb.info/bundles/ on the group page titked 'Bundle Checker'? That isn't really usable for the sg bundled status at least.
What is meant with "Promotions"?

So: unbundled ones can be shared,
but bundled games must be group exclusive?

The links are just shortcuts for convenience, they don't effect the group
By promotions i mean Moderator and Officer ranks.
The non bundle rule is in place to increase the win rate and success of the group temporarily,
Certain rules will be altered slightly depending on the size of the group.

Shared giveaways are not restricted, you can share non bundled games atm,
and no i was thinking the opposite and having non bundle and bundle mixed group giveaways,

Doesn't that make getting entries even harder? I think especially when the group is small, allowing shared is better. Of-course in reasonable ways with for example only other smaller closed groups and not big public ones.
While I have zero problems with ratio or putting up GAs, I simply prefer to not have to worry about getting any entries so I rather like to not have too many restrictions there.

Of course, Invite sent, i have taken your concerns into consideration and will be changing the rule a little later and adding a shared giveaways section to the discussion page temporarily, the trouble is that we are a small group,
and if say 90% of giveaways are mixed with groups with 1000+ members it doesn't give a lot of chance for us to win
making the group less appealing, so i will have to make another rule concerning this issue, i hope that helps.

ah I understand, that's why I said with only other smaller closed groups at around 100 members usually. That provides a few extra entries but still has high chance for everyone and increases the giveaway amount for the group too ^^

That might be a hard rule to implement, although i'm not sure, we are still new at the moment though, i will figure out a good system for us once the activity starts to increase and i see how the group is managing, i'm all about self improvement and it applies to most thing i do, add me on steam if you would like to talk about it more, your advice is very much appreciated :)

Unfortunately the last group i was moderator for has been disband and the group is no more
I really loved this group, and all of the nice members, and i am sad to see it go,
so i have made this group in the hopes of creating something similar, and i really hope i can do so.
