What are your thoughts when a winner responds like this:

So long story short: he won a GA 2 days ago (Serious Sam Complete, not mine), I added him and asked him why he didn't activate it.
This was his response (he only had SS3). After that I removed him from my Steamlist, all of the sudden he did activate his win (because he realised he wasn't getting my gift).

Does this guy deserve his win according to you, even after admitting he was gonna regift it? Still got plenty of time before deciding what to do :x

What language is your Steam client using?

At the bottom of the chat window it said "Last message received: ** 19 juli 2013" I'm assuming that's the users name? I couldn't find him/her when I searched it though, so maybe it's not? o_O

That really sucks... $95 worth of games and the douche bag isn't even going to activate them per Steamgift.com's rules by his own admission... >_>

He did activate it, after I removed him from my Steam friends, once he realised he wasn't gonna get the gift. Too late imo.

Who cares what people do with the game ? If they want to gift it to a friend, then good for them. They won, it's all legit.

What would be twisted is if they put it on steamgifts again to raise their account value.

It would matter to me. If I make a giveaway, I want the winner to have entered the giveaway because THEY want to play the game, not because they want to avoid buying their friend a birthday present.

I dont believe he should receive the gift because at least it will serve as a reminder to him that there are rules in every community which he must abide by. Hopefully it will force him to read the FAQ at least.

But this is just one case, there are numerous new comers every month who apparently cant be arsed to read a simple documentation. Therefore whenever a new IP visits the site a huge banner with rainbow colors should appear to guide them towards the FAQ. There should also be jokes included inbetween paragraphs and headers to keep them entertained long enough to keep their interest.

I disagree. As long as the rules are followed, as in he activates the game anyway, he can do or say whatever he wants for 7 days as far as I understand?

True, according to the rules he had 5 more days to activate it but if Enzime hadnt asked about it, he was going to regift it. He clearly admits this intention. Sure he activated his previously won gift, and he will activate the gift which he'll receive from Enzime as well because he's on the ball. But he's shown that he cant be trusted and he either didnt bother to read the faq or does not care about it.

People who only care about farming CV may not see it as an issue as long as they get the "received" flag from the winner but the rest who actually do care about what happens to the game they are gifting may have something to say about that.

You can still not give it to him OP. Nothing is "forcing" you to reward him, the only drawback is your +1 Not Received.

An user who trades/regifts a game doesn't deserve to win anymore, there's a lot of people who deserve to win and users like this guy stole from them the opportunity to win a game they will actually play.

reroll the giveaway. request a reroll and provide your reasons and that screenshot. if the mods here dont think thats a worthy reason for a reroll, then bite the bullet and accept the -1 (i would), no way would i give it to this guy.

He does not deserve the gift, don't give it to him. The -1 is much better than giving him the game. I really don't understand why they would deny you the reroll.
