No, as far as I know. You should watch them though, they are great :)

Oh i see a green dot in the left upper corner it says : Use the Garage to install upgrades for the Jack, But ive upgraded a couple of things already but it keeps standing there

No like hijofruta already said you need to equip the parts that are needed for the Jack.
Those parts should have that green dot. You have to equip exactly those parts and not parts that are better, so might even need to downgrade your car to build the Jack.

I was stuck too. It's because the quest is a little bugged.
If you have everything but the babybars, downgrade the car (the problem appears because you have better parts than the needed for The Jack) using only the parts that the Jack needs. Save the game (entering in Jeet's stronghold). Restart the game and then magically Chumbucket tells you about to go to Gutgash.

Um, why have you not seen these movies already? Like dozens of times each?

I've watched all of the movies countless times but I don't think you really need them in order to enjoy the game. If you're confused about certain characters, events or whatever you could check up the Mad Max Wiki.

No. All you need to know is you're angry and have to do a lot of shit to move on.

in fact if you watched all the movies you would end up with more questions than answers
the game seems to take only the last one into consideration

The game is.. entertaining. You don't have to watch any of the movies to play it. But you do have to watch the latest movie.
A lot of Imdb user reviews give it 1/10 stars and write some pretentious drivel about how it lacks plot or whatever.
I would personally punch them in their face with a wrench for not seeing the work of art that it is.
How can one be so simple minded to miss all the layers of subtext and perfection of every used trope.
Yes, everything is over the top. Yes, it boils down to one big truck chase scene stretched out over 2 hours.
But it is a masterpiece.
If I have to pick one review to 'sell' it to you, read this:

Wooooah...let's not exaggerate, shall we? The Maltese Falcon, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Pride and Prejudice(1939), The Wizard of Oz, Dial M for Murder, Psycho, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather Pats I and II, Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Fight Club, Brasil, Pulp Fiction, How to Steal a Million, Batman, The Dark Knight, Raging Bull, Robocop, Ghostbusters, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Heat, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Interview with a Vampire, Seven and The Lord of the Rings Return of the King are masterpieces.
Mad Max Fury Road is a really nice and entertaining action movie, teeming with buckets of testosterone, high octane chases and some incredible practical special effects, but that's about it. I've seen Asian action movies that completely blow it out of the water. Just to give an example that everybody knows: The Raid 2. Watch that movie and tell me then a simple chase movie like this can compare to the Asian version of The Departed with the added bonus of having sweetest martial arts fighting scenes you'll see...in any movie...EVER... Its definitely not as light on story as all the nasty haters say it is, but the undertones and subtexts aren't anything special that hasn't been seen before in the Mad Max mythos, or indeed, even in other post-apocalyptic movies.

They're all fucking amazing movies (except the third one) and you should TOTALLY watch them. The game is only tangentially related to the action of the movies, only in the sense that it's the life of the same character in the same universe... But other than that, nothing to do with them whatsoever. The first one is the most important because there can understand the character Max Rokatansky and what made him such a sour, bitter even, brooding ass-hole, since you see what happened to him and what drives him. The rest are just different adventures he has in the Australian post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I always thought the 3rd one is actually good. It expanded the universe, let us see more or the world and it was actually fun to watch with a sudden plot twist.
The first one, on the contrary, is rather weak and out of the line compared to the other three. As for Max as character - he is completely different in every movie but I fail to see any meaningful development.
