I'm looking for a game similar to Payday 2, in the sense that it's co-op and you can fully customize the weapons. I also like the handling of weapons in payday 2, its more realistic/detailed than other games I've played. Also enjoy being the criminal.

Any suggestions?

Insurgency has the best gun handling of any game I've ever player. Hands down, no competition. The rest of the game is superb too.

-Says PD2 gun handling is realistic. PD2 pistol more op than rifles and mgs. :D
If you enjoy being the criminal, how about the Saints Row series?

For anything "like" Payday 2" there is only Payday 1 and Left4Dead.

For "Weapon Customisation & Handling like Payday 2", theres only Payday 2.

Killing Floor 2

It's not about heists, but however some people consider it being similar to Payday 2, besides this, KF2 is amazing game.

+1, although it doesn't feel as good when you're stealing cash or cooking meths. Killing zombies are always good though

If u like robbing banks n stuff its monaco, not a fps but still fun. Insurgency is superb but the respawn times may throw u off. L4D2 is cool but can get repetitive after awhile. Fistful of Frags is a free game on steam and has a nice pvp aspect to it but without friends it can get stale fast. Tom Clancy's stuff is usually good for me when i want a kick out of pewpewing some peeps. Contagion is still okay for the coop aspect and shooting but is basically a harder l4d2 with a lot less people online. Worst case scenario is playing gmod with some mods or do some TTT. sorry but i don't know too much fps coop games. XD I'm too much of a strategy guy.

Other side of the law, and it does not have quite as much customization, plus it's a lot more realistic: SWAT 4. It's a great tactical shooter, where you play together as a SWAT force.
