I don't really like it when games try too hard to fit into established genres. Ones that blur the boundries appeal more to me. That aside, I often find games involving infiltration and similar themes (stealth, espionage, hacking) quite fun.

Stealth games (yeah, it´s a genre, shut up:( ) and action 3rd person smashing-button games (Devil may Cry, Sword of etheria, etc, etc) and 2D horizontal scrolling massive action games (Rockman X, etc)

I'd say RPG. But preferably isometric / top-down ones.

RPG always (not hack n slash, real RPG)...but a good mix of FPS/RPG (like Deus Ex) it's great too.

RPGs (mostly dungeon crawlers), (Single Player and Co-Op based) FPS, Rougelikes, Metroidvania, indies, and Strategy games if they are mixed with RPG mechanics.

And of course any mix of the genres above.

The extinct ones; sci-fi space strategy games, like Homeworld, and sci-fi space simulators, such as X-Wing. I'm sick of the present ultra dumb, copy-cat, conveyor belt games.

The few and far between FPSRPG's, well FPRPG's also ^_^. Favorite game (series) of all time being Fallout.

RPGs mostly. I prefer Western over Eastern RPGs myself. I prefer them being action/adventure (Elder Scrolls and such) and/or somewhat shooter-based (ME, Fallout 3+NV). But I like a lot of different kinds.
