What is the best anime you have ever seen?

My favourite anime is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, I watched it about a year ago in one sitting.
Can't really say much about it, it just has everything I love in an anime executed in a peculiar way that I enjoy :)

too many seen cant choose just one xD so i'm goin for one piece, katekio hitman reborn, ano hana, elfen lied, berzerk, and some others xD for ano hana i even cried a bit in the end.... and its not a thing that happened before with other emotional animes
