People need to upvote Bloody Trapland for sure. I've been waiting for it for awhile now.

Wings of Vi - This game looks deceptively simple because it's early on in development, but it controls so smoothly and is a genuine challenge. The art and animations are lovely, and the music is coming along great; plus, it was made by the guy who made Boshy, so there's that.
Papers, Please - I don't think I even need to explain this one, since it's gotten all over the internet. One of the most unique games I've played in awhile. Play the demo. Glory to Arstotska.

maybe give the cook serve delicious demo a try then.
they are far apart in premise and gameplay but similar on the idea of how fast you need to go while still being perfect.

http://www.motioninjoy.com/ works well to emulate the 360 pad.

I think I tried XPadder but something wasn't quite right. Glad it works for you, though! :)

There is a lot of support for it so Im sure it will be.
If you liked the frantic pace you have to keep maybe give CSD a try, they are similar on that point at least, you have to be fast and you have to be perfect.

But, for me at least, the goal isn't to be fast, and that's not the fun of it. The fun of it is seeing all the different characters in Papers, Please, and the situations you're put in.
For example: There's a character who is constantly trying to get it with bogus stuff, and whenever he brings the stuff to get in, his items are outdated from the rules at that point.
There's another part in the game where a girl who passes through slips you a note saying that one of the people who are in line is someone who offered her and her sister work, but that she doesn't trust him and suspects him to be a Human Traffickcist. His papers are all fine when he approaches, so it's your job decide whether to let him through, or to deny him and save the girl while taking a penalty from it.
That's the beauty of Papers, Please. The fact that it puts you on the spot with so many different scenarios. Sure, you do need to be fast enough to make enough money to help you and your family, but you're not supposed to plow through it. You need to take your time to take in everything that's going on.

Well the pace is just a part of it, but yeah there is not much individual story, you will have regular customers and all that though but basically the main part of the story is just trying to get from a 1 star to a 5 star and any story mostly takes place in emails between days.
I couldnt really do it justice here, maybe if you want go look up the giant bomb quick look, or if you prefer northernlion.

Hmmm
Unless you mean games that were greenlit, in which case I can't help you.

Apart from things that have already been mentioned, The Trouble with Robots and Beware Planet Earth! both deserve a lot more attention than they're getting. Potentially the next Swords and Soldiers and Plants vs Zombies respectively. Recruits could be interesting too, but is still early in development (one for Cannon Fodder fans).
