Yeah. I had GTAIV Complete for years and never played it until I decided to try Xliveless. No regrets

HOLY SHIT! IT'S TRUE!
GTA IV IS COMING TO PC! HA! SUCK ON THAT CONSOLE NAYSAYERS! MASTER RACERS DESERVE TO WREAK HAVOC IN LIBERTY CITY AS MUCH AS YOU PEASANTS. IT TOOK A FEW MONTHS, BUT THAT'S CLEARLY BECAUSE ROCKSTAR WAS OPTIMIZING IT FOR OUR BEAST MACHINES. EXPECT 4K RES, REALISTIC GRAPHICS WITH MORE AA THAN A BATTERY PACK FROM COSTCO.

Yes, GTA IV has Steamworks DRM, SecuROM DRM, Rockstar Social Club DRM, and GFWL DRM. You not only have to have a Steam account, but the Rockstar Social Club account, and a Microsoft Live account and Xbox Live account, and you need to log into Rockstar Social and GFWL each time you play the game and also validate a license key each time as well. It's a massive annoying hassle, and the likelihood of either Steam, GFWL, or Rockstar Social Club being down for maintenance randomly at any given time is very high. Yesterday I was trying to play GTA IV and Steam went down, no game. Steam came back, I go to play and can't log into Rockstar Social club although no problem doing it on the actual website itself. I opt to not connect to Rockstar Social just to get in the game single player and GFWL wont start either. After spending 3 hours exiting the game and reloading it and trying again on and off, eventually GFWL started working again and I was able to play the game and save my progress in single-player however Rockstar Social Club was still offline. It's the worst experience of DRM I've ever had in any game in history. Microsoft is shutting down GFWL on July 1st and allegedly any games that use GFWL will become unplayable unless you crack them with piracy tools even though you've bought them legitimately - unless they patch GFWL out of the game which doesn't seem likely at this point. My advice: Don't buy Rockstar games, worst game consumer experience ever, even worse than Ubisoft or EA.

If you think that's bad wait until they reveal DRM fro GTA V.
Extremely reliable sources say that it has everything except GFWL. To make up the loss of security, they instead will require Origin as well as biometric scans of your feet everytime you launch it. To further ensure that only authorized persons play it, you need to have a webcam on at all times during play.
I'm hyped!

I eagerly await the day when online games require a DNA sample in order to log in.

Hey there, I'd like to ask if GTA IV on Steam still does have all that DRMs that are annoying? I'd like to buy GTA IV complete edition.
