Also I'm cheap-ass, hunting for promos and discounts. I will not lie, without enough CV I would never get to The Notable Gifters group (<3 all), but that's it. After reaching 150-200 of old CV I stopped caring if it grows or drops

I feel like there should be an option for newer users. Something like "just getting started, but would like to be a somewhat fair individual." What I HAVE decided though, is that I am going to do a giveaway for half (or maybe 1/4) the cost of every tattoo I get. So if the tattoo is $100, the giveaway would be $50. Now if I end up with a $300 tattoo, I'd probably do a $75 (so 1/4 the cost). Hopefully this'll keep me from going overboard on my tats, time frame wise. Ironically, the next tattoo I'm really dying to get is the alien queen on my thigh, her tail wrapping down around my leg. That one's gonna be pricey!

My solution for not doing too many tattoos is to just be broke and it worked!

F**k no! As an aspiring tattoo artist myself, I heavily dislike that style. The closest I get too "cartoonish" would be my Vault Boy tattoo (the Purifier perk), but that's just because my entire left arm revolves (will revolve, I should say) around Fallout. And it's not colored, it's grey wash with splats of red for the blood.
And even when I'm broke, I still find a way to get tats. I prioritize tattoos over food :(

Yes I vaguely remember it being spelled Pryde. Ahh I only really grew up w/ the Xmen cartoons as a kid so my leaning has always been in that franchise. From DC, I wouldn't say I'm a fan but I've always enjoyed Batman's reiterations.

I think it all depends on each persons view of GA.
Like me i do not have a lot to GA i do not have a lot of extra cash,but i do GA the bundle left overs i do not want.
I do it because i like to be nice and i want to share games i will not play or may not want.I also know that whoever wins it may never give back but that is now what the site is based upon last i checked it was free for everyone all you need is to meet the account value.
Groups are for the ones that are always sharing,public GA or for whoever wants a game regardless of if they give back or not.
In the end i just do it because it makes me feel good and i enjoy it most of mine are nothing big but at least i have given back.

Well I feel the point of the site is to give things because you feel like it, not call people out for NOT giving. After all, if everyone demands that everyone has to contribute equally, it becomes more of a blind trading site. Pretty damn tired of seeing all the hate against certain people. Now I personally try to give back what I win and I can afford to do that, but the whole point of this site as I see it is to give some poor people a chance to win some games they can't afford. And if you do that then you can't go whining at people who don't pay back.
Being generous is your choice and a very virtuous, charitable and admirable one at that, but you are not entitled to look down on others for not being like you AS LONG AS they otherwise follow the rules of this site. And if anyone feels like blacklisting me for saying that, you're just a sad person and I don't give a shit about you anyway.

Glad we agree! Since we're in the same group together and just to make sure you won't call me out for double standards, I do believe that having stricter control within giveaway groups is reasonable, since people here join for the purpose of giving and receiving roughly equally. With that said I'm not extremely happy with the current system but I think it's an okay compromise.

You can come to this site and give nothing, give a little, or give a lot. That is completely up to you. That doesn't take away from the fact that people do what they do on this site and fall into some sort of category listed or not.

There area ton of users on SteamGifts. A lot of people are here to win free stuff, some people are here to give and get, and very few people just want to give. If asked the question of which group you are in, I bet most people would claim to be givers for the most part.
