I wrote a chunk of text of 20 lines, but I think that the shorter the better, so (*take a breath*):
I came here for free games. 7 months have passed and I still want free games, but there are more things that I want, like spending time with nice people and solving/making puzzles. I have bought a pair of bundle games and I have started to giving them away. Also I was expecting to become lvl3 with my first no-bundle game, but there were only 3 entries (the puzzle wasn't so hard, I swear :C ). Well, I don't care anymore about my CV, I already win a lot of games. I have found at least 3 people who blacklisted me. Well, I don't care, they will have their reasons, I have a blacklist too for people who offend me or offend other people. I have found more people who whitelisted me. Actually an awesome thing and unexpected, makes me feel good. I am learning things, now I know to make a fire with your own pee, I found movies I want to see, music I want to listen... I am enjoying the community. Shit, this text is becoming longer than expected. So I was a leecher (hey, you are still a leecher perrolijo!) Who said that? Well I have a lot to do yet, but I have started to want to contribute (as far as possible being unemployed).

I try to be fair while at the same time not breaking the bank. I barely buy myself games as it is, so buying one just to give away doesn't happen that often... but it does happen!

Everyone has problem with q1. I have q1 but no q3 or q4 :D Damn dude your puzzle is hard :P.
//edit: solved!!! YAY!!! And to answer your question... Well I joined as a pure leecher to get free games. But then I had some leftovers from bundles so I put em here and it felt nice :). Right now my ratio of received/given games is nearly 1:1 so I guess I contributed a bit to community. But I would not consider myself as "giver". Somehow it's not in my nature. It's very hard for me to just buy a game and give it to stranger. I even feel sorry when I buy a game for myself, cuz I think I could spend it somewhere else :{.

I try to keep things fair but at the moment I feel like I'm leeching 'cause I've got not much money to dedicate to videogames in general and this doesn't help giving away of course.
Despite my join date it's just a couple of months I'm active on SG (both placing entries and setting up GAs) and in a near future I hope I'll be able to give more than I'm actually doing.

There area ton of users on SteamGifts. A lot of people are here to win free stuff, some people are here to give and get, and very few people just want to give. If asked the question of which group you are in, I bet most people would claim to be givers for the most part.
So the question is what kind of SG user are you? Will you answer truthfully or just live the lie?

EDIT Don't get upset at the poll choices, They are represented in more of a comical manner for certain options. Yes there are more categories that I didn't list and more specific users as well, and some that fall into multiple categories.

It is surprising to see that many after having to do a puzzle to get in. I am guessing those who are on my blacklist are ones that got the link by other means so they deserve to be there.
