Right now I'm enjoying Elemental Mage and of course Quest Warrior is still pretty strong.

Kripp for winding down for the night, no loud notifications, no music, good stream to relax to.

Don't really have a favorite class, it all depends on the meta and how fun decks each have. Playing only Standard and watching StanCifka and Kolento, others occasionally.

All time favorite deck is good old Control Warrior with 15+ big legendaries. Now having most fun with Shudderwocks, especially when a Quest Priest steals your deck and gets Saronite, Lifedrinker, Zola and Shudderwock. Then Psychic Screams 7 more to my deck and steals them with Benedictus every turn. So both end up playing Shudderwocks for 20 turns while I wait for his Amara battlecry to go off first and Alexstrasza second and hit his face. Lost with fatigue while they had 30+ Shudderwocks and Ungoro packs still left.

I watch mostly Kripp, and Tournaments from time to time. Favorite classes would be Priest, Warrior, Druid. I play very little Arena. Mostly standard and wild ranked. If I currently want some fun, I play Toggwaggle druid in Wild. ^^

Prob my favorite classes are Hunter, Warrior, and Paladin. My favorite decks being pretty much every midrange deck (really miss the days when those still existed) and old control warrior and handlock. I currently enjoy playing spell hunter and hadronox druid. I play mostly ranked, though I don't usually try climbing to legend much anymore as I don't feel as interested in playing lately (that and its not as special after hitting it the first time).

As far as streamers go I like Sjow, Kibler, and Savjz. However my favorite is probably AsmodaiTV. He may seem a little strange the first time watching but he is skilled and fun to watch, plus he literally streams every day which is a big plus for me.

Playing HS just wild ranked, I never bothered to get a better rank than 10, since I only do quests mostly... I like warrior the most ( a custom built, I really hate and will never make a deck "from net/premade". What I hate the most is dragon priest, jade druid (even if lately it's no more problem for me to beat it) and the "new" lock with that stupid void, I didnt even bother to find its name... and if I could literally destroy a card, that would be Reno Jackson, I really hope that the "brilliant mind" that made it to have a though time.

Played Hearthstone only a short time. Was too boring after a short time. Everytime the same with the same classes.
It was at the beginning so maybe they changed that.
Faeria, at steam, is free and from my own experience much better then Hearthstone. Much more possibilities

IMO, Eternal is the best alternate game on Steam and is similar to Magic. Very generous with free packs and multiple balance changes.

Eternal is a great game and they have a great dev team. They'll be able to put forth much more effort into their game now that they won't be working on Elder Scrolls Legends. ESL is a really good CCG as well, that's what I play daily. They are very generous with things as well. Honestly it's sad to see Dire Wolf not working on ESL anymore but hopefully the new dev team won't disappoint.

Mainly i play hunter. I don't look one specific streamer, but usually ThijsNL, he builds good meta decks/meta breaking decks every week.

just last week I earned my final golden hero (warrior). my favorite deck during my time has probably been maglanis demonlock while my favorite class is a close call between paladin and priest. lately I've been playing even warlock and it's been doing great on ladder.

I quit HS because of the massive expansion pay2win updates spammed 3-4 times a year. I just couldn't keep up with this.

Not really exlusive to hs. If you played other card games, it is usually much worse. You could argue that you own physical cards tho.

Going from 2 expansions and a adventure to 3 expansions a year definitely made it harder to keep up if you were a free 2 play player. Before the increase I was able to keep up fairly well and compete on ladder even being sort of casual. Since the change I've definitely fallen pretty far behind, but I do play a lot less now compared to before the change.

Have you tried Elder Scrolls Legends? In now bro you should check it out. It's sort of a cross between MTG and Hearthstone. They are a lot more generous with things than HS. The crafting cost is much better. They give you gold and a card after 3 wins. They rewards on their special tournaments a pretty good for the entry cost. The login rewards are pretty good(get better and better each day). They have twitch drops enabled where you can get some crafting material, gold or packs just for watching the stream.

Hey Fate, No I haven't yet. Sounds cool though, I may give it a shot later on. Thanks for letting me know!

About the HS thingy: Yea, same for me. I used to be able to play a little ladder (not good though) etc. but those cards that just keep appearing out of nowhere just frustrated me too much, as I like being "up to date".

I love Priest. But it was never in the meta, ever. Priest decks depend on RNG A LOT. I was a legend with Warlock (handlock) when Hearthstone was released years ago tho.

You skipped the 0 mana deal 2 damage 5 times a turn meta?

It was literally pure RNG.

Priest was never in the meta? Ok..

EDIT: I'm really trying to understand your comment. I don't understand how you can say Priest was never in the meta. When did you actually start and stop playing?

I really don't see Priest decks as "meta". You can create the best possible Priest deck ever and you'd still lose to Warlocks, Druids and Paladins. I honestly think there are Priests in Legend ranks just because they had RNG on their side. Objectively speaking, Priest never had a good synergy deck and it's probably the reason Priest win rates are so low.

And top players brought Priest decks to top tournaments just because they love RNG?

Edit: https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/meta-snapshot/standard/2018-01-08 yeah only top tier 1 deck.

Every card game has RNG.. every deck no matter what class has some rng involved. The meta changes constantly and there's unfavorable matchups for every deck type. Spiteful Priest right now is a top tier deck for the meta.

EDIT: And yes my comment still holds true even after the slight nerf to Spiteful Summoner's casting cost.

I played both. Best deck priest ever had was Dragon/Spiteful Summoner and it still got destroyed by Warlocks, Paladins, Druids even the goddamn taunt Warriors.

+1 These are two of several. The comment about how Priest was never in the meta doesn't make any sense to me. It honestly sounds like Asperyules stopped playing a long time ago and only played very briefly.

Legend takes too much of an effort, so I stopped caring about ladder at least three years ago (only play ladder just to unlock the card back). I only log in to play dailies (thank god they let you complete them with friends and thanks god they reduced their length), play adventures and open packs... because everyone loves to open packs!
I don't care about new decks new cards new sh*t, I just want to open my packs <3

It used to be. Now both are shit.

We need a PAID card game, 10$ price tag with absolutely no paywalls and good balance.

Closest balanced Game I have tried is called Eternal and its on Steam. If you like Magic, I recommend you to try it. FTP and lots of balance patches.

If you are playing really serious its not good at all. I played it about 200h but this game have too much rng. The ressource system is not rewarding. Try spellweaver instead.
