Am I blind or is giving away Tomb Raider Collection not an option on SG?

Chronicles and Angel of Darkness are terrible, go for any of the other ones.

I own and have finished all of them on console.

I liked underworld and anniversary , never played legend. The older ones haven't aged well imo mainly the controls.

Pick up the whole collection!

I'd suggest Legend, Anniversary and Underworld. I've also played TR 1 and 2 ages ago on PS One, they were great at the time being but are pretty outdated now (ofc if you don't mind the graphics and tank controls you should get them too). Anyway, Anniversary is a remake of the first game.

I've never been interested in the Tomb Raider series and I didn't love the demos I've played,
but I really want to play through the whole series now.

I guess it's because of the new game.

you can use a glide overlay and play the original ones in 3dfx mode, that way you get some lovely shading and higher resolution (although its only 640x480 is a god send compaired witha quarter of that.)

I imagine they will work with the steam versions, but I cannot test that.

Tomb Raider 3 was and still is my favourite in the franchise, the latest ones were a letdown, again like some said above if you don't mind the graphics then I'd suggest you to go for TR3

On topic, i'd go with the collection and it's only $15 totally worth it. Loved all the games, if not i'd go with Legends and Anniversary two of my favorites.

+1, get the whole collection... Pretty much of a fair price to say the least. The first couple chapters are real classics, even if they really got old graphically (obviously), worth playing from memories.
Can't say better than it's in my own "get this before the week-end is over" to do list.

I just can't get into the first six ones. I tried a few times but they're just so... stiff. I'd start with Legends if I were you.

I just played "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light", I loved it. It has a lot more action than the original Tomb Raider games. It's only 50% off though.

There seems consensus that the new ones are the best. But in reading through all the discussions on which is THE best, on average, Anniversary seemed to come out on top. Views on Legend and Underworld were more polarizing.

I just bought the collection, didn't want to choose lol. Legend was my favourite though.
