Can I do a giveaway on Origin keys here? Coz I got 3 of the games from the bundle already.

Try it, but it comes with 1 single key, that activates all bought products for Origin.

You really should a spot an obvious joke, registered two years ago. Just because my answer wasn't potato, Bad Rats or Thanks for Skyrim! didn't mean, that I wasn't joking. I hoped that the fact that he have to "give away" one Origin key for all games scares him from doing that :P

Umm, what did you think? This is Steam Gifts, not Origin Gifts or Uplay gifts(hey it's not a bad idea though :D). You can give that one key away in form of a keydrop on the forums. Make sure that you do some kind of puzzle (i.e.: replace a few characters with unknown letters, and give the solution or something like that), or it will be claimed by a bot.

Yesh, got it because I lost my disk copy of Medal of Honor Warchest. Two Steam keys are a nice addition too. But the Warchest for $1 is the real deal. No matter it's Origin. MoHAA is the one and only game. Remember playing it in 2002 at friend's house. He had 21 inch screen and 7.1 surround sound. At the level with Omaha beach I wept.

I though that a new origin bundle was going to be an instabuy, but here I am doubting if it is worth it.

I have wanted Dead Space 2 since the first Origin bundle so pretty happy with that, even though I have yet to play the series it's moved further up my list now. I bought the BTA, five bucks to charity and get the next games that come with it, win win even if the next ones aren't that great.

Meh, not as good as HB origin 1.

My guesses for bonus games Simcity 2013 and Titanfall.

  • Simcity because everyone hated the game and it has microtransactions and they can make some profit off it.
  • Titanfall so people will convert to origin and be more willing to buy Titanfall 2

If Titanfall does go into the BTA, I will probably get it, because it means I can buy Titanfall w/o giving EA money. :3

Also maybe Bulletstorm? Already a kinda dead IP. lol And I think it was going to be a a bonus in the first origin HB? (Anyone remember the list of games that were going to be BTA bonuses but were changed at the last minute or whatever?)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

really they changed the BTA bonuses, why?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

We'll they didn't announce them, but there was(I don't know if there still is or not) a way to look into the steam database and see what the bonuses were going to be.

Maybe because people found out early they didn't decide to do it, or maybe they decided because it was so successful, they should save some for if they ever did a HB origin 2.

It was someone's bad guess. Updates in that image were for Steam Store version and not CD Key or actual game.

Bulletstorm would be cool. I already have it on Origin, but I'd like for more people to play it. It was a lot more fun than I expected.

Actually, I don't think Sim City 2000 will be a bonus, because it was on the house a few weeks/months ago?

Would be odd to make that a BTA.

A lot of them were On the House.

But then again. Dragon Age Origins, Peggle and Bejeweled 3 were free too and still are in the bundle.

wow,
origin is giving everything for free...they give all money to charity ! Thats realy nice from them.
I just saw it when I bought the bundle...and there is no slider for Origin.

You are right, that's even in the HB's description:

An origin story where you're the superhero. Thanks to Electronic Arts and Origin forgoing profits from this bundle, all of the proceeds that would ordinarily go to them are instead going to charity. This means you can help out some amazing charities by simply buying games! Pay what you want for ...

No wonder there's so many games that were given for free in the past in it.

Super interesting thing about giving to charity. You can recieve tax relief from charity donations Which means that the sad truth is that giving to charity isn't done mainly out of "kindness" but as a way to get out of paying tax.

Well, I just bought the BTA because of that "all goes to charity" feature. I could even select the charity group I wanted my money donated too. Some sounded like dreams people have. I happily support that. Sometimes dreams do come true if you dare to believe and act on them.
This is awesome. They should advertise that much bigger.

Edit: And yeah, I know, I'm a hopeless dreamer...

Man, I was like, ya I'll get it, I have half the stuff but I really want the rest, and give $50 to charity but then... origin. I could give $5 but I won't play them and all the ones I want are origin only and I can't give them away nor do I want to spend the time doing it so the money gets saved and put to a future game/book bundle.

By the way, you can activate some steam keys at origin, or cd keys from game page at steam client.

Soooo... I can activate this special code on Origin... and then sell STEAM's:

  • Dragon Age™: Origins
  • Dead Space™ 2
  • Bejeweled™ 3
  • Mass Effect™ 2

Am I right? :)

I got it for PVZ Warfare and Dead Space and Mass Effect and i hope the BTA bonus games are for ME and Dead Space missing games.

Either way over all worth the price just for the BTA for me anyhow,i do have a couple the ones in $1 tier for free, but nice to see C&C in there

Though i suspect the bonus games might be other C&C either way i am happy with my purchase, though bit let down the Origin game are one Key i was hoping to at least give away the ones i already had to someone who would want them all well.

can someone explain to me how humble bundles work and this pay what you want thingy!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

pay what you want and get the first tier. you need to pay at least $1 to get steam keys though. don't know about origin, gog etc keys. pay more than the average paid price and get the games in the second tier. see games with green lock? you get those additional to the first tier. also sometimes, especially at weekly bundles, there might be fixed tiers. pay more than the fixed price, you'll get that tier and previous tier(s). no need to worry "what if i'll pay x and average goes to x+y" because the average price at the time you paid that counts. if you're not sure about the second tier and want to wait for the second week bonuses, you can lock the bta amount by buying the first tier. or you can pay a single cent to lock it too of course but you might cause hb to lose money by doing that. so don't do it please.

In this bundle you get one key for all the games on Origin and individual keys for the 4 games on Steam.
Just so you would know, you can use the keys for EA games on Steam on Origin as well.
