Definitely, yes. You have USB connectors? Then I don't see why not.

Or use an USB dongle so you can connect wireless :)

It's definitely possible. I know some games such as Clusterpuck 99 support up to 8, I think the most I've used is 4 though.

I play with 2 wireless and 2 wired xbox controllers on Linux. No problems.

My kids play with two XBox 360 Controllers. We have tested DualShock 4, and XBox One controllers as well. You should have no problem running both.
