A word of warning. You may want to check the giveaways for the next few days until the SG cache expires. I opened my wishlist page today and saw the CL giveaway from you, even though I am no longer part of the group. That's how I realized that the group is back up and running. I have my profile private and only sync every few days when SG asks me to. There are bound to be people in the same boat.

Yeah, requested one person remove their entry and resync, and another to apply for reinvite first

I normally whitelist everyone who gets into CL, so even if you're not in the group at the moment, you're still on my whitelist.

I will reapply as well. Then again, did I ever really apply myself to anything in life? ... We got elbows, we got bears, we got Abraxis haters, we got charitable losers... heck, I think I should fit in as a serious-goofball.
Now, if we could only get the mysterious uber-leecher, KTS to apply... he would leech all of our giveaways!

Somehow I doubt he will apply, but if he does, he'd still only give stuff away ;)

Applying for a reinvite!
I've switched to gifting almost exclusively non-bundle games, so my number of games ratio has suffered (since non bundle games cost more than bundle ones, the number of games I can afford to give away aren't as high as if I would buy bundle games for the same money), my current ratio is about 2.3 sent for every 1 won. However, my real CV ratio is well above the group limit, also at 2.3 real CV sent for every 1 real CV won.

Awesome! Thanks for the reinvite.
I intend to sticking to giveaways for games not on the bundle list, so it might take me a while to get to 3:1 ratio again, I'm guessing I won't be doing more than 10 giveaways/month (all for non bundle games). I could just spam some cheap bundle giveaways to quickly get back to 3:1, but I wouldn't enjoy that.

There are lots of nice bundle games (I only enter giveaways for games I want to play, and the majority of my wins are bundle games. I've finished several of them, good fun every single one).
I just feel that there are lots of bundle game giveaways available, and not as many non bundle, so I'm trying to do only non bundle giveaways. A mid-priced non bundle game on sale might be €3-5, while that money would give maybe 5-15 bundle games (higher numbers especially if only buying from the first tier), so if I only wanted to get to a 3:1 ratio that wouldn't be so expensive, but I enjoy doing non bundle giveaways, so I'm going to stick to that even though my number of games given ratio won't improve as quickly.
Does that make any sense? :D

In a way it sure makes sense, in another way it doesn't.
Lots of bundle game giveaways available on SG is a good thing to me tbh as there are so many users on this site, and they all enter for those giveaways too, so they must be desired. I also get mid-price non-bundle games like you mentioned and I enjoy giving those away, but that doesn't stop me from gifting my leftovers. I wonder what are you doing with all your left over bundle keys? Or are you not buying any bundles at all?
But if that's what makes you feel good then roll with it...

I've decided not to buy any games for myself this year, I only purchase games for giveaways. The only exception would be if any of my wishlisted games turns up in a Humble Bundle so I can choose to give the money to charity when I buy something for myself. That happened with the latest Ubisoft Bundle, both $1 tier Steam games were on my wishlist. Nothing left for giveaways from that bundle since I activated both. I have however done some "bundle leftover" giveaways for Humble Monthly keys, since I forgot to cancel that subscription... but I didn't activate anything myself, gave a few of the keys to my brother, the rest as giveaways.
Just checked. So far I've done giveaways for 47 games that ended in 2016. 44 of them were non bundle, and the ones with bundled status were Portal 2 and two different giveaways for Risen 3 (I purchased all three as Steam gifts, not keys from bundle sites, but they have bundled status due to Russian discounts I guess). It seems like the winners have enjoyed these wins a lot, and I've enjoyed doing these giveaways, so why not just do non bundle giveaways if I think that's fun?
"in another way it doesn't.", "shrugs" <- It does sound a bit like you're not liking that I'm not purchasing bundles for giveaways. Is that a total misunderstanding?

Not in any way. Check just a few replies up where I say that I enjoy bundle games, and of course - the people that make giveaways for them. I never look down on people. Steamgifts is full of awesome people giving away free games to strangers, and that's always a great thing.

The new realCV ratio rule seem to help express the group's wishes to value non-bundle gifts more, without punishing those who also give bundled games like earlier drafts, which seems fair.
I sure don't qualify any more because I mostly gift bundled games (CV ratio of 2.8 but realCV ratio of 1.06), but my brief time with the group was nice!
Respect to you guys who actually pass the new tests!

Charitable Losers v2 is now live.
Made for users who gift far more games than they win, this group was put together so we can gift to a like minded group of maniacs and addicts.
Here are the rules now being used for this group.
If you believe you meet these requirements, you can use this tool to confirm (Thanks to Knsys for putting together this tool, Charitable Losers thank him for the work)
If you meet the requirements, post in the thread and one of the group admins will confirm before sending you an invite.
Be aware that mass giveaways over a short period of time to meet group requirements will generally require a wait period of 8 weeks after the boost before they can receive an invite.
For site members that don't meet the requirements to join the group but still wish to gift within it, we have the position of Guest Gifter. These people will get a temporary invite, purely for making a giveaway or two then escaping before they make too many and get a permanent spot in the group and a hole in their wallet.
I obviously won't trust just anyone asking to do this. If you want to though, get in contact with me.
