I was idling The Binding of Isaac cards, decided to check my inventory, found this and freaked out for finding my first "foil". Anyone else is as stupid as me?

Not all of them, I've seen some of them being sold for 10€. At least I managed to sell my Raz background for 7€.

Not sure, I know they all start high and then get lower quickly...

I got an IV The Emperor foil and it was like $40, now it's barely $2

I put it at $5.75 early on so I could get $5 for a BL2 DLC and even then it didn't sell when it was one of the few on the market.

Sell them anyway. I don't see any context or reason where anybody would want to use those in chat. Or most of the available emoticons, for that matter.

I know they're not 20$, but some of them are worth a few bucks, better when the game has just added trading cards. And who doesn't prefer 1.5 or 2$ instead of 0.20? xD

Actually the foil I got yesterday, someone sold the same for 20 Euros, now it's around 1,50.

The pain when I realized how much could I have earned from it. :P

When the cards have just come out, there's not going to be many foils in the market, so those who want to show how big their cock is by having all the badges the moment they are available are going to pay whatever you ask for them.

I happened exactly the same to me, except I was playing Warframe. When I saw the foil trading card I though "finally I get a foil card". I though it was a glitch caused by the overwhelming server traffic and really took me a while to discover that it was actually a emote :). As they say, bliss is happiness.
