Hi
I just read the other thread about this argument and I have a question
Will my account get suspended if I reset the playtime on a game? (ex. I hate seeing tf2 in my top played games because I left it open a few times)
I found a bunch of identical questions googling the problem but they're quite old, I don't know how steam feels about this at the moment.
I don't want to risk losing my account just because I'm a bit anal about playtime, so I figured I should get advice from someone first.

Well getting arrested seems better than getting my account suspended.

He forgot to mention being sodomized by a big black guy named Bubba while waiting in your holding cell.

and from what I heard, I think you can get a VAC ban for using SAM (the app)

Only the steam support can remove playtime.

I am pretty much sure doing so on any VAC protected games can get you banned. I am not sure about other games, however I doubt your account would be affected if it was a non VAC game.

You CAN edit those statistics with SAM but you should NEVER DECREASE VALUES. This is very likely to get you banned. Increasing values can work, but decreasing is almost an instaban.

Fiddling with VAC protected games is NEVER safe, that's all I can tell, and unless you ask Valve support directly that's as accurate as it gets.
